im a little confused on what resolution i should play as. widescreen monitors are 16:9 ratio right? the 2 resolutions i have to chose from are 1920X1200 or 1920X1080 doing the math i belive the 1920X1080 should be the 16:9 resolution, correct? the thing is i dont know if its just me but it seems like they're too tall and skinny in that mode. Is that what i should be on or should i do the 1920X1200. my laptop monitors native is the 1920X1200 btw but like i said thats not a 16:9 ratio i dont think
so is the 1080 right or what, it looks right for some races but night elves and trolls and stuff look too skinny on it, im not sure if its right

Always go with your monitors native resolution when its possible.
I have a 24" widescreen and I'm running it at 1920X1200 and I've not noticed any issues. Everything seems to be proportioned correctly and the game is amazing at that resolution.
If your monitor can handle it, go... you won't be sorry.

ya it does say wide, the thing is that both the 1080 and 1200 say wide and i know that cant be right, because they're different ratios when you divide them

ditto, same on my laptop.
it may look tall and stretchy because you've been in a poor resolution before. it looks "Wrong" because you are used to the old way which was itself probably wrong.
