Firstly, sorry for the extremely bad song/title pun combination but i really couldn't help myself.

Now onto the topic itself, its rather simple. A matter of moments ago i was sat in Cenarion Hold Inn and wanted to buy some arrows off the innkeeper, however my eye to hand coordination seems to have been off by quite a way and i ended up right clicking on an inoffensive alliance rogue.

Before i could even utter 'Bugger' i was summarily executed on the spot by the local guards and so i started on a short ghost run feeling extremely sheepish indeed.

So here i've created this thread in the hope that others would share their experiences of slipping the mortal coil in just as embarrassing a manner so as to diminish the burning of my own rosy cheeks.

Help me!

I did the same thing on a tauren npc once. I learned to check whether my cursor was an info bubble or a sword before I right click.

Another dumb move... forgetting your pet is on agro in Silithus and him taking off for the windrider master.

We had never run UBRS with our guild, since we don't have enough people on to do it. A guild member had just finished his quest for the UBRS key, so we decided to go in with a 5 man group. They knew we couldn't handle it, but thought it would be funny to have me run in and see how fast I'd die. It took us about 4 or 5 wipes and half an hour to get my body back and run out the door. It was rather humerous.

One time I had a level 6 undead rogue try to do that "kill em after a duel" thing to me but he **** himself when his diabolical plan failed and I turned around and one shotted him.

I once did the same thing in Light's Hope Chapel with my Paladin.

Of course then I hit Consecration, Divine Shield and Hearthstone.

Consecration made some of the nearby Horde players start attacking me. The guards wtfpwned them when I left.

I remember that first run through Ashenvale to get to Zoram Strand. "Well, there is an alliance town-just keep running and don't click on anyone". Yeah. That worked real well. Not!

And when we tried to get to Alterac where the yeti in the cave is-we ran a little too close to the Alliance AV outpost and hubby right clicked on a guard before it killed him. Well, we didn't know about the 5 minute wait on /pvp either and when he rezzed he was promptly killed by a rogue that had obvioulsy had just come out of AV. Doh.

Another thing I learned was not to confuse right and left clicks...When I was just a newbie, I clicked on a "skull" that was running through newb area...He was kind enough to violently remind me to not confuse right and left clicks ever again.

My first experience was with the alliance flight-master in Booty Bay. My horde character quickly learned the difference between right and left clicking... taught by griffins spilling my guts on the docks.

Another moment was leaving the WSG BG area at the north end of the Barrens. I had just finished one of my early battleground experiences and was skipping into Ashenvale without a care in the world. I paid no heed to that silly skull lvl dwarf because I was in a PVE world. That was the day I learned about being tagged.

My moment also happened in the cenarion hold inn. I wanted to buy something off of the innkeeper, and decided to right click on her. But just as my mouse was over her and I was about to click on the chat bubble, this alliance palladin logged in right in front of me, so instead of talking to the innkeeper, i gave the pally a good smack on the head with my staff. This of course, led to my immediate death.

Also, a funny story about confusing right and left clicks. My first ganking happened in Booty Bay. An ally got a level two into the town, and I noticed this with some amusement. I went over, and wanted to target him but instead right clicked instead. I one shotted him, and then was given many chicken emotes by the 60s in the town.

I used to have "Defend yourself", which was an addon that put you in auto-attack mode whenever you were attacked by a mob or player.

That mod used to get me into so much trouble in the goblin cities after someone would try to assassinate me.

My exciting death happened in SFK. I was on... I dunno my 50th run or so. I had gotten the instance down to a science and started doing crazy stupid stuff while killing the mobs, jumping around, running on rooftops, aggroing all the mobs and AoEing them, kiteing.. I was on the wall after Killing the boss with the 2 bats. Happily the Rare Captain was there, so as my pet was chewing him I was bouncing around shooting him and being an idiot.

All of a sudden while jumping... I jumped over the wall. -_- The captain died as I was falling out of the instance. Loading screen. Falling some more and then dieing on impact with the ground. Wispd back to my body, rezzed, ran back into the instance. By the time I got there his body was gone. I wasn't exactly rushing, but I can just imagine what his drop was ;-;

I felt like such an idiot.

Back before patch 2.0 when the caverns of time had that big dragon guarding the entrance. I had a quest that said discover caverns of time. So I ran around him a couple times didnt seem to do anything and so I decided maybe I needed to talk to the dragon. Right clicked and was summarily executed.

When in 1k needles, doing some quests, me and a friend where on the quest where you do the leap of faith. Well, seems lag mess's up the quest. So we jumped, I lag spiked, my friend teleported to safty, I splatted. Then went after a ghost run, and handed in the quest. Go figure.

This one was myself, but I blame my roommate since I switched to his computer after the fight. We just finished Onyxia, and put up Undercity portals to get a move-on to BWL. As an incentive to keep the raid moving, we find it funny to agro the dragon whelps in the caves: i.e., port or die. So I agro the whelps and run to a portal.

That was when my roommate decided to tell me that the mouse buttons didn't work.

In MC.

Long Story short, it was my first run and I didn't know what I was doing. I fell off the bridge next to golemagg (on his side) aggro'd him and everything else in the room. The guild promptly died.

Boy I felt great.

Shaolinz, was it you who made the thread about wiping at Onyxia a while back?

Did you drop your lucky charm or something?

I've always played Alliance. While playing my first Hord character I took a trip to Booty Bay. When it was time to fly back, I went right up to the Alliance Gryphon Master and right clicked to get the Flight Path. Instead I got dead.

I was leveling an alt (a level 10 at the time, hunter) during the new years event and decided for the heck of it I'd use the toasting mugs (or whatever they were called) on a couple random people. Well, apparently one of them was flagged because about 15 seconds later a see a gnome 60 rogue run up and gank me. I was amused though, because this was in at the entrance to orgrimmar, so I immediately saw like 5 60s who were hanging out at the entrance to org just brutalize the guy. Revenge is good :)

Today in Nax. I was one of the warriors tanking the ghoul groups. We pull, do our thing, my ghoul happens to get a lucky shot and kill me. Annoying, but all part of the job. But no sooner do I get rezzed does a shadow show up and promptly cast shadowbolt volley...

So lame...so very very lame...

I was alting a lot, both my chars were about lvl 35, both questing and leveling in STV, using BB as base.

Alliance windrider in BB, rightclick + instadeath. After a moments thought, I finally remembered that this was my HORDE alt, not my alliance one. Hmmmm

Honorable mention goes to getting heal aggro off the 2 first mobs in aq20 cause 80% of the raid is sleeping, and getting 2shot.

my first time in SM cathedral. We had cleared the right side with the hidden room, and were making our way left to clear the rooms there before taking on Scarlet Commander Migrane.

Well I didn't know about going *around* the pillars and our group was promptly mobbed and killed...

"what happened?"
"man! Trunk just ran up to Mograne like, sup?"

Boy I felt dumb. By the way this is a great thread, kinda like the Darwin Awards of WoW ;)
