My auctioneer won't scan any more. I have the latest d/l. I've scanned a few times, but the past couple of days, I click the scan button and nothing happens.

Any thoughts?

The Beta version of Auctioneer* available from the home site, Scans fine and has worked extremely reliably for a couple of weeks now, at least for me. It also does a sort of "mini-scan" when you enter an item to auction, whereby you click the UIRefresh button. It then does a fast scan for prices of that particular item, and even signals the mini-scan is done with a burst of choral music, heh.

read the home page for auctioneer, it flat out tells you that the CURRENT vs will NOT WORK, you have to try either the beta or alpha builds. i use the beta build and it works just fine.

i am not 100%, but i think the bottom scan is just like snapshot. i could be way off base, but i bet if you went back the auctioneer main page and read up on the bottom scan addon it will tell you.

Scan puts the prices into the auctioneer db so that you can compare pricing and price the items you want to sell in a competitive manner.

Bottomscanner scans through all of the current auctions (not yours) and lets you know items you should buy because they are under-priced. It will let you know where you should re-sell it and how much you should price it for. For example, someone had a two-hand sword on the AH for 1g less than you could sell it to the vendor (why, no clue), but bottomscanner caught it and I was able to buy it out and sell it to a vendor for an easy 1g profit.

I did not know about the single item update feature..that was very helpful last night. Too bad it does update the price that it placed when you first put the item in the "to sell" place.
