Just read an article in Beckett Massive Online Gamer magazine about Warlocks being a complex class to play and the least common played class. True? Then that got me wondering which classes are most common, which least, which are in between. I played WoW last year for a couple of months and thinking of coming back. Anyone know the approximate percentages for all the classes?
As far as ive seen so far in the game, rogues and mages are very common and warlocks are the least common i've seen, this is coming from alliance side however i have not played horde yet
Most common alliance side: Hunters, Rogues and Paladins
Least common alliance : Warlocks and Priests
Most common Horde side: Undead Rogues, Shamans and Druids
And for some reason there doesn't seem to be a least common class on Horde, they are pretty well mixed in.

It is a complex class. In maximizing efficiency in both PvE and PvP it requires quick application of the best spells to fit the situation (Warlocks have by far the largest array of situational spells). You do not simply focus on one target, the entire battlefield is your target.
And yes, Warlocks are definitely one of the classes that are least played. Makes it hard to find skilled Warlocks.
