i'm a bit confused bout the following:
1) some dude was screaming, in an idiotic manner, that couple of patches ago, looting Drek's Dogs dont cause respawn???
2) i've heard of Mods where it simultaneously log your group/party members in same time to "try" to get you into AV together???
3) Horde actually winning more AV these days???
4) due to new honor system, HK dont matter much anymore so better to rush in and get a quick victory???

1. Don't know about not respawning, but at least they respawn slower.
2. I heard about it today, from these boards. Thats about it for my knowledge on this Q.

4. Yes, It is now much better to just kill all elites/cap towers/win, than to just kill people. Of course, if you get chance to kill opposite faction, it all adds up.

I got ~1000 honor from one game of AV, defense.
As a Hunter it was pretty much shooting ducks.

Please "talk up" if your comprehension white-shifts. I will use simple-happy language-words to help you understand.
2) Its called StinkyQueue.
Talk to the AV battlemaster. Then type in (or make a macro) that says...
/script JoinBattlefield(0, 1);
And it will queue _everyone_ in your group for the first available AV assuming you're the group leader, no matter where they are. It's not guaranteed that everyone gets in but it's more reliable/easier than having everyone coordinate queues over Vent or the like.

1. doesnt matter anymore. They respawn on timer. So its a myth. Not looting them causes them to respawn a bit slower.
2. There is a mod that helps with getting into the same AV as friends on the same server. Its not 100% but works alot. StinkyQueue. Http://ui.worldofwar.net check here.
3. No. They still suck at AV and take the middle road to SP and when they do take the high road its only 8 of em. Not enough to mount an attack on SP. They are almost getting as much honor as Ally are with kills and they take on every NPC that nets bonus honor. So in a sense they are winning when it comes to honor, but get 1 mark. Big deal Honor>marks at this point.
4. You will always get more honor if you kill/cap everything on your path to the main boss. People will say they got loads of honor on defense, but the total overall honor from alot of fast games is better than 1k from a 75min turtle.
The fastest way to get honor really is a premade AB team.

in av the other day someone had said that the dogs re-spawn whenever drek does and seems to hold true since i have never seen the dogs respawn while we are all in there killing him no matter how long we take

Not on a timer - they respawn when Drek resets. We've had 6 (!) unlooted dogs on the steps, and still have idiots spamming BG channel with 'DON'T LOOT FFS'.
Their frequent appearance is due to shoddy pulls, that's all.

The dogs respawn when drek resets and they are already dead. If drek resets while they are alive they will not respawn of course.
So if you pull a warmaster and the dogs come as well and you kill them they won't respawn until you pull drek out of the room and he resets. No matter how much time has passed
