okay so i just started WoW and its pretty good. except for the fact that when i downloaded addons to make my gaming experience better, it kinda ruined it. i downloaded the grim pack, and followed the instructions on what to use and disable. the only problem i have with the grim pack, or maybe just the game?, is that whenever i get a new skill, such as stealth or pickpocket (im obviously a rogue), i get a hotkey button in the middle of my screen that wont move.. fortunately, for my stealth button, i found out that it was in a class action bar, and i found out how to move it. i have no clue how to move the pickpocket button though.

also, could someone tell me if theres better addons to use, or if i should set up my addons differently.

Being a beginner, I suggest sticking with the default UI as much as possible.

At least stay away from addon compilations (which is what the grim pack is).

BTW, it's not the game giving you that annoyance. It's one of the addons.

Correct. Do not use Grim Pac at all.

UI mods are great, and thankfully Blizzard has intagrated some of the best ones in to the game. Yet they are not required to "make my gaming experience better". It is far more likely that you will ruin your gaming exprance by not paying attention. A good plan of action for UI mods is to play the game for a while(maybe like 6 weeks) and see what it is that you find is missing(be it mail managment, map notes or even a little facelift) then do the research, read read read about any mod before you isntall it. Install Mods ONE AT A TIME, this will let you see what mods have made what changes. It will also help you troubleshoot any issues you have with a given mod(and no they are not supported by anybody, so you have to do it yourself). Modpacks like Grim Pac are pretty messy, since you did not put the items in the pac, you are not sure what every part dose, so when you have a issue, you dont even have a starting place. Mods can take up time, at one point I stopped playign for almsot a week and a half, so I could learn and configure Discord Mod.

I don't use grim, And I agree with Web & Capitolg, I assume it will be called "grim bars" or "grim unit frames"? Best of luck, and take it easy on the UI. Blizz made alot of it standard.

Start by disabling (unchecking) all your addons from the Character selection screen, Addon Button. Does your problem then go away? If so, you can slowly add back any addon you feel is necessary. As a lower level, about the only addon I would want is something to show coordinates.
