So, you've collect X amount of gold in the game. What happened to it? Where did it all go?

Mine, personally, is so sad. I made a bank so I wouldn't buy things that I didn't need on the Auction House. It was all sent to a level 2 rogue (and I hate playing rogues). There was 101 gold. I was walking around Brill, and went to talk to the mount merchant (not a great idea). One click and all but one gold went to a Purple Skeletal Warhorse...for the level 2 rogue I will never level up...ever.

Ok, so maybe YOU didn't buy a level 2 character a level 60 mount!

What did you spend your money on that you regret?

(PS) I know you're laughing at what I did...I did too, whereafter I was immersed in the "OMG! I DID NOT JUST DO THAT! THIS IS ALL A DREAM!" feeling. I'm still hoping it's all a bad dream.

My blunder wasn't as bad as this. With my 20 warlock I bought a normal mount.
Only 2g left =(

I did ASAP...no reply yet, but hey, e-mail is slow.

At least you could use that mount in 20 levels. I'm never going to level that stupid rogue. >.>
(That is except for the fact that warlocks have the quest for their mount.)

No I didn't message a GM. I could probably make it back if I only did proffs for a day, maybe two. Pity I can't be bothered...

I bought the gingerbread cookies for 2 gold, and I was level 26... I thought the gift would be some uber item, but all I got was 10 mageroyal.

No use to me....

I got that money back, but I spent it on class abilities and respeccing.

At least I've kind of noticed it is a little bit easier to earn gold back just by grinding, questing and instances. I made all of the 100 gold over a span of 2 1/2 days. Did anyone else notice that gold is easier to make now? Or did I just learn how to do something right?

Th gift that Great Father Winter send can be anything. I got a plan for an engineer and sent it to a guildee. He was over the moon with it.

But, the thing I'm not understand about the people on my server is that they are BUYING the cookies on the Auction House. It's driving me crazy. It costs way less to buy the recipe for the cookies, go to Thunder Bluff, kill the swoops, and make the cookies yourself. 2 gold for cookies is ...too much. At least someone is making a tidy little profit.

Well, my little rogue that I bought the epic on has no rep with Undercity, since he's only the bank. So, I really lost 100 gold.

Thaag, the engineer rogue of mine, is such a nerd that if there's a schematic, she will buy it. She will farm hard and have lots of gold and instead of an epic dagger she'll moon over, say, the Dark Iron Rifle plans--which she purchased at 43d lvl, despite the fact that she won't be able to make the damn gun for another 12 lvls ^^ But Engineering has precious few crafted items that are blue...

Yeah, one problem. I posted that I messaged a GM and they said they can't do anything about it.
