I am about to wrap up the quests in Duskwood. I am currently a 30 lvl rogue. What is the next territory Alliance players head into?
Usually Stranglethorn Vale. Head SOuth from Duskwood.

Western Plague Lands is a lvl 50+ zone. Get lost troll.
Stranglethorn is good place to start in at 30.
There are some nice quests in the Shimmering Flats part of Thousand Needles for that level. There are also a few quests in Ashenvale that are around level 30. Desolace is also a good place for a level 30 to get started on.

Easy exp + 5+ gold in trash drops (for me it was around there) = yes please.
I always do Shimmering Flats around 30. There are a number of crossover quests back and forth with Stranglethorn Vale.

QFT for added emphasis, shimmering flats has alot of nice grind quests.
Southshore is where I went for a few quests as I felt STV was a bit tough in the first 2-3 levels. It may also have just been the medicine men just surviving long enough for my mage to use up all his mana. I went back at around level 50 just to get even.
Anyways, Southshore and STV are good spots.

You know that's so funny, works on a few levels. I love puns
If you're on a PvP server, be prepared to get killed quite a lot in STV, since it's usually a gankfest on a lot of server. If you want to spend more time leveling at that moment, better head for one of the other options.
I'd also recommend getting a level or 2-3 somewhere else before entering STV, else the quests will rise above your head pretty fast.

I would go to STV its a major questing area.. although look out for horde, we will get you! that is, if ur on a PvP server
