OK, I finally (puff puff) got my first level 60 and I'm trying to do the Argent Dawn Rep thing. But I am SOOOOOOO confused...
When do I keep and when do I turn in the insignias, attuners, etc...I don't want to waste them. My goal is to obtain the Tailoring patterns (it's a "collectors" thang)...
Oh knowledgeable ones, please give me your insight...how do I proceed, what is the most adventageous to my rep and future purchases?

Save your savage fronds, bone fragments, scourgestones, etc. to turn in later. You don't even get the quests for them until you're friendly. Kill undead until you get honored, then turn in all your collected items. After you're honored you don't get rep from normal kills, only from elites. At revered you only get rep from bosses. That's why you want to squirrel away all the items, to make your rep from kills go as far as possible.
I think you only need revered for all the patterns, or have they added new non-Naxx stuff besides the chromatic mantle for exalted?

Collect until you reach Revered. Then do all the quests and turn all that stuff in. Earlier in your rep, each kill gives rep, plus you get tokens. Later, you can only get rep from turn ins. Man, I wish I had known to do that. I still have not reached exalted, and I dont even know how many thousands of undead I have killed.
Do you need exalted for the last pattern? If YES, then save everything you get from drops. To get friendly to honored you will have to do one scourgestone turn in, unless you are in Strat or Scholo when you kill something. Once you hit Honored, run Scholo and Strat Dead until you reach revered.
Now turn in everything to make a dent to reach exalted.
Also, you can hold off on some quests that give you rep until you hit honored or higher. And if you Fish, scan the AH for Craftsmen Writs for Stonescale Eel, Lighting Eel and Plated Armor Fish. Pretty sure you get rep for every turn in for those items.

If you want only Revered then kill every undead (equip your mark to get scourgestones) until you hit Honored and then turn in everything.
If you want to hit Exaulted then save all of the turn in items (I would go ahead and do the cauldron quests so you can do repeats of those). Hit Honored by killing general undead in EPL/WPL. Hit Revered by joining Strat/Scholo runs. After you hit Revered continue doing Strat/Scholo but start turning stuff in and hope for the best.
While Honored you do not get rep from killing non-elite mobs except for the Shadow mages. While Revered you do not gain rep from killing elite mobs in Strat/Scholo, only the bosses.
