is there a way to find out what realm/server, you were playing in? i just tried logging in and it wanted me to choose a realm. i don't recall which one i had been previously playing in. i emailed them(blizzard), waiting for a response. didnt know if there was a way to try and find my character or just have to wait from blizzard?

That just means your server is still down. No need to email them about it.

When the server is back online it will work as it normally does, just asking you for your login username and password.

If you look at the server list (when your realm is back up) there is a column that tells how many characters you have on that particular server....so all you'd have to do is look until you see one that has a number beside it. I think you can also arrange the servers by that column, putting your server on the top of the list. However, when your server is down, it will not be on that list.

If you remember whether it was PvE or PvP, just choose the realm type and it will suggest to you a realm that you have characters on.

Edit: As the poster above me pointed out, this won't work when the realms are down. And the realms are down every Tuesday. So just be patient :)

If I didn't have a Calendar, how would I know it was Tuesday if it wasn't for posts like this?
