Umm… I think I’m missing something. Are there really such things?

The only snowballs I’m aware of are the ones on the ground near Southshore. I’ve seen snowball for sale on the goblin vendors, but I assumed they were the same thing.

And are best invention since sliced bread. I love to throw them at Horde on Bridge of Doom when I play my ally char. :P

They are gone, nerfed because a bunch of griefers had to show their stupidity.

You can only carry 5 of them.

They melt after 5 minutes.

Only available in AV (and disappear when you leave).

30 second cooldown on use.

Have a powerful knockback effect on anyone =) (though now nerfed to only enemies thanks to whiners).

They are nerfed because there are people out their who can't be happy unless they are griefing their own faction.

Call it griefing if you want, but I took great pleasure in snowballing the AFK honor leeches out of the AV tunnel, and am truely sad that I can no longer do so. Perhaps you're ok with honor leeches, but I viewed the new snowballs as a very effective way to combat the honor bots, and was glad to not only knock them out of the game, but give them a 15 minute deserter debuff.

Obviously Blizzard must have been OK with it too, because someone reported me, yet I kept doing it for several hours, plenty of time for their ticket to be answered, yet got no tell from any GM.

At one point in an AV match, I was killed in our base and the Horde took over our graveyard there, meaning I resurrected in the cave. I couldn't get to defense and I couldn't get to offense either because apparantely the new strategy of the week is to rush to the Relief Hut and just wtfpwn Drek before the Horde players reach Dun Baldar.

So I grabbed some snowballs outside the cave and began tossing them at the leechers around me. Some where, like me, just waiting for the ending, but others had been standing in that cave for the entire duration of the battle.

None of them protested when I tossed them the hell out of there.

Why did Blizzard remove my fun? :/

I just wanted to help...

Nobody is complaining about kicking AFKers out of the game.

They were removed because griefers at the bridge killed their own teammates, and ruined the ability to kick out AFKers in the process.

That's what happens when dumbass 12 year olds get to play with the big boys ;).

Guess there are some other seasonal snowballs that work a similar way in AB. Our raid leader was immobolized for most of a game by somone throwing snowballs at him the other night - boy did he get mad. At the end we all did as the Horde lost 2000-1980...

It wasn't because of the AFKers, it was because the stupidity of our teammates to kill us or stop us from capping a flag, knock us off a bridge to die, knock us into the marshalls, stun the tank, and other stupid things that cause the entire team to wipe and lose the BG.

Walk to the entrance of the cave(so your outside) and use your AV trinket, tada, you're out front Vandarr's crib.

Lately there have been about 5 people trying to "knock-out" 8 afkers. Seems to me that was a giant waste of time and you were not only mooching as well but hurting your overall team effort as well.

If you are hell bent on taking out pent up aggression on botters that's one thing, but doing it every BG ... I guess I'm just trying to win, anyone not on the battle lines (O or D) upsets me, even if you're trying to do something you see as productive.
