Crashing & Clicking in BG's :: World of Warcraft

This is my first post. I've been trying to keep an eye out for posts with similar issues but haven't seen anything.

First, am I the only one affected by the horrible "clicking" everytime someone enters/leaves a BG? My PC freezes for a split second everytime this occurs.

I've tried a mod that is supposed to remove the click,...and it does but there is still a detectable glitch everytime someone enters & leaves.

Secondly, since the new patch wow.exe has been crashing to the desktop ALOT. I have reformatted/reinstalled WOW and it still happens. I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems.

Disable CTRA for the lag.

There is a Blizzard fix to the clicking... it's a macro script you have to run.

A guy by the name of Digo on Hyjal posted this at one point, supposedly it stops the clicking.

I haven't tried it, as I'm not all that annoyed by it, so use it with caution.

As for crashing to the desk top, I had it happen for the first time in almost 2 years the other day. Don't know what caused it, but I tend do d/c in BGs a lot. Don't know what to tell you about crashing except it sucks.
