8,200 ... with the new system.

I played way too much that day.

~18k or so (first full day post-patch).

Yeah. Just... yeah. Considering I was leading the PvP group for about 16k of that, I got a little sick of AB by the end.

Hmm, ~ 4 k *blush* This was before the honor nerf, and with no queues. I guess I just can not stomach more than a few hours of intense PvP per day.

About 6700 before the honor nerf, about 3800 post nerf(queue times increased about 400-500% post nerf on my battlegroup).

I'm not a big fan of long sessions of PvP, but I really wanted my GM weapon. Thankfully, I'll be getting that tomorrow when the servers come back up.

3.6k, after the nerf, after about 12 hours of PvP PUGing. Yes, Alliance in my battlegroup never wins. Yes, not even Alterac. That is all. Thank you :).

Ouch. Even without wins, you should be getting more than that in 5-6 hours of AV(assuming decent queues) unless the games all become moronic turtles.

Let me guess, AB premades with 4 or 5 caps are the best honor/hour around? Followed by AV with the murder of all officers and commanders as well as cappping all towers and winning it?

Because I had crap AB honor (didn't win a single one, came up against premades in all my BGs), and somewhat decent AV honor. But 3.8K honor per day would have been great... No such luck here.

You nailed it. It somehow became fashionable among the Alliance to just rush to Frostwolf without capping any tower or GY, mostly dying either on the way there or at the FW defense, rezzing at stormpike and turtling there, until the game is over (app. 1 hour per game). As they don't destroy towers or kill lieutenants, there's no honor to be gained this way.

A good AV yields 200 honor, a bad anything from zero to maybe 100 *sigh*.

Memitim made around 3k in a day (yesterday).

He pretty much lived in Stormwind Keep from 9 AM to 4 PM and from 9 PM to midnight.

What really sucks is the amount of people who managed to get xx marks and xxxxxx honor before the nerf. They've got PvP epics now and I can't even buy my ******* insignia.

I get about 4 -5k a day. That's about 6 - 8 hours of play. I really can't go more than that.

I really wish I had started before the honor nerf... I have been getting about 4-5k honor a day, playing about 5-6 hours at night after work until I get tired during the week. On a rainy weekend with not much going on, I could probably do more, but would get really bored in the process...

I use to do alot of AB, but now do non-stop AV's. The Alliance actually wins most the time in AV, so I usually get about 20-100 honorable kills depending on the length of the match, and 200-300 bonus honor.

I got my Mageblade this past weekend which made me very happy. I now plan to work for the Grand Marshal set, starting with the Robe which costs the most. I plan to go for the robe > head piece > legs > shoulders > gloves > boots. The most honor cost to the least!

Pre-nerf 4k during my 3hrs each night of play.

post nerf 2.5-3k.

It seems the nerf brought about an overabundance of premades, but ALOT of them are not true premades, they are mostly the lfg type and can be beaten easily by a horde pug.

Our guild AV's can generate us about 400 honor in a 30minute win, when we get tired of the AB 5caps.

How are you getting 4k honor in a day, let alone 16k? I've played for about 8 hours in the last two days, and when I check my honor, it's at around 600. And I've won more than I've lost.

I've been playing strictly WSG lately, and I'm level 39. Does the BG and/or level have anything to do with it?

Level 60s get a crap load of honor compared to those in the 39 bracket, but their gear is much more expensive.

They also have more experience and win oriented teams, while the players in the 39 bracket are gimped by "LEZ GO GRND HNR SUXXORZ!!!!!1111!".

Although the lack of marks has put sentinels blade out of my reach for too long -_-.I don't really know how one can get the 200+ Marks in one weekend i hear about. I only have 23 WSG and 3 AB

Most I've done is 5k, pre-nerf, and it was a struggle. There's only so long that PvP will entertain me. That said, I like the new honor system because it allows people to slowly build up honor to get gear.

I had a guildie get 17k post-nerf last Sunday. Which is insane.

There are a couple differences with me, the first weekend I started to get into it, it was pre-nerf AND AB weekend, so honor was flying. Broke nearly 10k in one of those 2 days, and pulled in about 35k in those 4 days.

Post nerf, I was also getting tired of BGs, so not only am I getting less honor for them, I'm less interested. I'm pretty much on a 2-3k a day streak right now, but can pretty easily pull in 5-6 if I really felt like trying.

The biggest change I have noticed is that a lot of raiding guilds are now running premades in battlegrounds. They are already well organized and disciplined from raiding, so they roll over pugs.

I have seen much evidence (boards and in-game) that lower level raiding has practically died on many servers because the warlord/marshall set is better and easier to get than the raid gear. Nax guilds are still going strong, though.

So everyone and their dog will be doing battlegrounds until they get their epic sets, then burning crusade comes out and its on to level 70. I have been doing some battlegrounds just to get a couple of items, but I figure its not worth the effort when I can get better greens next month.

most I got a full day was ~14k, but range 5-10k other times usually, thats with real life stuff and raiding, just end up doing ab matches non-stop any time I can. Most times range 5-7k, but on good days I get ~10k, but there's not many good days, usually top at 7k and get bored of pvping for the day.

I would like to know the same, I did 19 AV's in a row and ended up with 810 honor the next day.

b4 the nurf bout 12k. after the nurf i am doing 3.9k a day with about 4 hours a day played.

the key is 5 capping ab. all you need to do that is a talented leader and a group that listens. in ab tactics wins, gear has very little to nothing to do with ab success.

if your que is 30+ mins for av fight, in the zerg. you can do about 430 honor per 45 minutes fighting in the zerg, as opposed to 293 honor per 46 minutes counting que times and a 16 min win. as alliance especially the goal if you are solo puging should be to postpone any win as long as possible. diminishing returns means that you will never get less than 1 honor per kill until you kill someone 10 times and by then they will have afk'd out.
