Twinks in WSGFollow

Having seen a level 10 gnome rogue in WSG with 2 fiery enchanted weapons today, when will Blizzard nerf these enchants & give them no refund for the ludicrous overtwinking going on ?

Oh and for the record, the gnome was in our party.

They won't, they shouldn't, and we already pretty much have a topic on the first page concerning this general discussion.

Blozzard has already admitted they f'ed up by not putting level restrictions on ehcnats, but now claim it's too late to fix, which is BS by the way, but this is a dead horse thread.

i did a fiery enchant the other day on a white level 2 mace for a 60 mage the other day.

he dropped 25g on the sucker because he thought it looked cool. i was amused, to say the least.

Fiery, meh. I have beat plenty of rogues and warriors in wsg with fierys, its the green glower's you gotta look out for.

IMHO these are the only enchants which should be restricted. +30 agi(+15 x2) is certainly a huge advantage to over someone without those sort of resources at their disposal.

Twinks are merely equipped CORRECTly to fight and survive in bg's, now that everyone has easy access to equips means no more *********

I myself have a twink rogue. Level 29, 200 agility, 1700hp, 30+% chance to dodge, with 16% chance to crit (without malice). I use 30+ agility for weapon enchants and such.

I merely wanted a character I could have fun on. Sure, I'm aware others don't have this ability, or want. But is that my problem? Not really. My rogue has been beaten plenty of times, and not always by twinks. All it takes is knowing how to play your class. I don't know how many times I've been frustrated simply because I got pajowned by a hunter or a level 28 who simply knows how to play his class, but at the same time, I love it when I can take on 5 people at mines by myself. It's self-rewarding, and is quite fun.

Rubbish, all it means is a player from an established server has had longer to get the money up to twink their toon than from a newer server.

Nothing to do with playing a class right or not. all it says is " I have more cash than you '. As an alliance player I notice that it is always alliance toons that seem to have these in WSG, is this the only way alliance can win ?

It isn't much fun when I am trying to get enough kills & honor to find that someone on my side has 20-30 k in damage merely because they have twinked.

Heh, Instead of it being a more money thing for me, I like to see What I can push my guy to be. Kind of like people stacking up every buff they can think of to get a 8k ambush without berserking.

I have to admit to having a twink but then by the general concensus of the definition of a twink I don't know. I got a high lvl mate to run me through WC to get my Druid of the fang set but made all the money for enchants including +22int with that character. I decided to go with a resto druid for my twink, I imagine a lot of you are thinking why, two reasons. First because my mates made a twink rogue and a warrior so I could compliment them in a flag run but mainly so I could imagine the frustration that an opposing twink is feeling while he is trying to take down a normal player and I have the mana pool to just keep healing and healing. By the way I love the healing scores in the bg's now, I don't get anywhere near the amount of crap I used to get for not healing.

They wont cause they already screwed up, and as you see from responses here alot of people suck so bad at PvP they need an extreme advantage to be able to compete. (not flaming directly at anyone as some people twink to avoid being owned by other twinks and just dont want to lose the investment)

However if it makes you feel any better I wipe the floor with these twinks on both my druid (ally side) and my shaman, and neither are twinked. I also retired my twink rogue, because even other twinks were too easy for me.

Level to the 30-39 bracket and its not so bad.

when did they admit that? link please.

I hope they never "fix" it, cause it's not broken. All the enchants are available to all players who are willing to put in the effort.

Well I dont know what that guy is talking about blizz admitting it was a mistake. However I think by the fact that the new stuff has lvl restrictions and some of the comments I have seen from blue says that they are very sorry they didnt have lvl restrictions on them. But thats all reading between the lines and jumping to conclusions that may or may not actually exist.

I don't see anything wrong with them. They are there, all players can get them if they really want them bad enough, as TseTsuo said.

I'm new to the game, I've only played in WSG every now and again while running through IF. I think I may have played WSG probably about 15 times tops, I've played with and against "twinks".

I really don't see anything wrong with them. Yes they kill me quick. But you know what, I respawn in under 30 seconds go out and try again. They aren't unstopable, I've even killed a few myself. I was even fortunate enough to go 1 on 1 against a twinked undead warlock and win (yeah it was pure luck though, I think I hit shield bash the same time he was casting fear, so I think that threw him way off giving me the win, I know it was lucky since I thought I was spamming the mocking blow button, the victory was short lived though I was stabbed in the back by a sneaked rogue) Anyway, the point is that they are beatable, it may be a little harder to defeat them, but it's not impossible.

The biggest trend I see is people giving up. I actually was grouped with someone who remained dead through the whole game because there were twinked horde. The whole time he was whining about them being twinked and how it was rediculous, and they should just end the match. I think he spent more time crying about the twinks then he did playing the game.

Anyway, this is a huge generalization but, it seems to me the people who complain about the twinks are the people who play in the battlefields only to get that epic gear, and not for the fun of playing against other players.

If it makes you that upset though, then just go do something else. People forget this is a game, and games aren't meant to frustrate you and drive you crazy, they are there to help you relax and get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life. So if it gets you that aggrivated, go do something else, it just isn't worth it to get so upset about something that really isn't that big of a deal.

Yea like I said I just level past the 10-19 and even the 20-29 brackets, which isnt hard to do. Also I make money in this game so easy that I could twink at that level once I get to around lvl 50.

So yes he is correct. You do have to have a higher lvl to do it properly, but at this point everyone can do it.

The biggest reason I hate twinks and premades and all the stuff making BGs a hit and miss luck game as to whether or not your going to have fun, is because I have seen several people begin to play this game and try to enjoy PvP but got smoked by twinks. Many of them listened to me and kept leveling past the popular twink ranges. Also the lower level you are the bigger gap in stats after twinking. But a good amount of people never stuck it out long enough to get to the fun part.

Thats the part that pisses me off. Honestly if you have even an ounce of skill twinking is pointless in this game, especially with the new honor system.

I enjoy how everyone who says that the reason people twink is out for lack of skills. Have you guys ever thought this through? Not all twinks are skill-less. There are guys out there who can play, and having the stats to do it simply gives them the advantage. I've seen one twink rogue in 10-19 bracket, clear through the entire Alli team, and another one try to do it, and die in the first two people. I've seen one twink shaman take on 4 twinks and still come out victorious, though he was pretty dead and pretty mana-less.

Some just find it more enjoyable, as one guy said, to push his limits and abilities to try to make the best character he can. I wish I had the resources some had, that way I could push my level 29 rogue to have around 2000hp, if not more, and still have monster agility and damaging capabilities.
