He's had countless characters across several servers, so I'll just call him "Kitty". So, this is "The Legend of Kitty" and I swear it's all true
Kitty leveled a paladin, on a pvp server, without ever losing the carebear. Was he a fool, or was he a hero for finishing every fight, then asking who started it? Kitty is a paladin, 'nuff said.
Kitty then went on to level several characters on a non-pvp server...perma-flagged from lvl 1. "jones'ing" for the slitting of throats, I'd often find him in the bg's, at level x0-x5. Which of course we'd ask, "WTH are you doing??" since everyone KNOWS you can't go into BG's < x5. His reply, "Well, I got mad. No one was bothering to carry the flag, so I ran in, grabbed it. Ran back across the field, killed three opponents, bumped into other flag, re-capped that and planted. We're up 2 now." Group won't move? Kitty picks 'em and carries 'em to a win, kicking and screaming the whole way. That's how Kitty rolls.
Kitty is not now, and will never be a twink. He does this under-level in quest rewards and personally crafted gear. Buying things off the Auction House would make it "too easy".
Being driven to tears of boredom without the world pvp, Kitty convinced skittish me to come to a pvp server. I vowed I would NOT go whining to Kitty every time I got ganked. And I did well, up until a shaman and a warlock refused to leave me alone in Shimmering Flats. Kitty (in rogue form this time), flew out and took care of that little problem...and then took care of it again, and a third time, and then chased them through 1000 needles, and THEN asked me, "Are you satisfied now?" I was. =) Kitty was 3 levels below the shaman and 1 below the warlock.
It was rare I had anything of value for Kitty, so the few times I could offer, I did so with enthusiasm. Kitty has paid back even the most trivial of loans, much to my frustration. The only time he'll accept help is when I said, "If you try to repay me, you'll hurt my feelings and I'll cry. You don't want that DO YOU!?"
Kitty has moved on to a server (high pop. pvp) where there is greater opportunity to use his skills. I cannot follow this time as I am not at that level of play, I know I would be a liability. I'm of course sad to see him go, he was an absolute delight to watch. I have promised that I'll continue to cheer on, and watch for him. He's going for druid this incarnation.
I look forward to seeing you soar Kitty. It was a pleasure to game with you.
