So I am level 42 hunter cruising along in my mount for the first time, i decided to go into AB. So now im cruising along in AB and a rogue almost jumps me, how i saw him i dont know(he was level 49 and obviously had twink armor and enchants). So then i set off my pet, get away far enough, and start popping away, one time i even ran through and past him because i wasnt getting enough space. After the match this dude comes up in a level 1 ally and whispers im reported and hack wtf?

He was just pissy. he should learn by now he has no chance angainst hunters.

As a rogue for my main I actually tend to tear apart hunters. While it is true a hunter can usually win in a duel. In open PvP I tend to completely pwn them.

I disagree with deadzone and toast. For mages, or rogues, or any others who like to play in that zone I have found a lot of handy tricks that come to my advantage.

My favorite that I use the most is Scatter Shot. This is an extremely valuable tool for anyone within your "deadzone". It is a close range (they could be ontop of you) attack that deals 2/3 damage and disorients the target for 2-3 seconds. Unless I'm stunlocked I always pop this off and clear distance. For a warrior that charges me, drop a freezing trap.

There is nothing more amusing then a warrior or a rogue running in then turning into a block of ice. Walk back, Aimed shot followed immediately by arcane shot then concussive shot. kite back a little more multishot. Usually by then it is a done deal.

With the expansion I have found a great deal of fun with Silencing shot as well. Got that mage that keeps nuking you? Shut him up for a few seconds. All he does is stand there getting mauled by your pet while your aimed shot is getting ready. Or you can run closer scatter shot and drop a trap.

The possibilites are endless. /rant

yeah a rogue vs hunter is tough unless the rogue can lock the hunter down and fear off the pet. even then it is a very challenging fight for the rogue.

as for his "reporting you" tell him to go right ahead and you call the GM right there on the spot for harrasment. challenge him to report you and tell him, be my guest i have/am fillling a harrassment against you right now as we speak.

i hate wooses like that and make them pay for their stupidity.

twinks seem to think that they are almighty and godlike....
but that doesnt really improve their fighting....

I will agree with you about beating hunters in a duel. I never duel rogues because the space is too constrained and they know what is coming and counter it.

But in battlegrounds, I look for rogues to kill and it never seems that they rez fast enough to keep me busy.
