Account to Account transfersFollow

#1 Dec 16 2006 at 12:20 PM Rating: Decent
Blizzard seems really strict on this subject, but has anyone ever transfered a character from one account to the other in the same household? They said they do not allow transfers between accounts where its not the same owner. But my brother wants to have my account and is the owner, but its not under his name. Does anyone know if blizz will delete the account if he transfers a character from his account to mine and pays for them both?

I'm not sure of the exact details, but if you guys have the same mailing address on both accounts, it may work fine. I think you could just try to transfer, and they will either let you, or won't.

First, they won't delete it, they just won't allow it. If both account owners share the same last name and address, it'll be enough for the transfer to go through.

Yeah, the transfer will never go through to begin with.

All I can say is contact them and see what all needs to match on the accounts to qualify.

You may only transfer characters between accounts that have the same name and basic info. Otherwise, you cannot transfer between accounts.

The correct answer is that the two accounts have to be registered with the same last name. So long as the last names match, you can transfer between accounts.
