look. >.>

Turn your camera so you see the front side of yourself and the back of the elemental. You'll be able to see behind you.

Why I love being a hunter. :-p

But yes, as was already stated, scan the area before you engage and occasionally move the camera view around to watch your back.

That works, just look extra hard for the rogues, druids and people using potions, cover etc.

I flip the camera angle around all the time to spot people (and mobs). When travelling, I use autorun and spin the camera. When fighting, I spin the camera between special moves to keep an eye on things.

Of course, if you are fighting a mob, you are compromised anyway. Gankers are going to wait for you to engage the mob before attacking. Think of it as an AI enhancement.

Most gankers will kill you and leave. If they are so dumb that they stay around and fight mobs, ambush them and then make sure you leave laughing last.

Members of the Alliance, like myself, emit a powerful glow of goodness and purity that you can look for. When we look for you Horde, we just follow the trail of gagging skunks that fall deathly ill at the presence of your vomit inducing stench.

I think the only reason I didn't decide to rate down that incredibly childish and unnecessary (and unasked-for) comment immediately preceding mine is because, unlike the OP's post, it was written using something resembling decent spelling and grammar. Would that more should follow such examples of lingusitic alacrity. (I'll bet they're not from the USA.)

Wow, thanks for the insight Legolas.

Ahhh, a fine example of one of the many reasons I'll never roll Alliance.

We're not all that bad, you just have to sort through the mess.

Usally, if someone in your party is mispeeling words, they are an alliance spy. Make sure everyone knows.

Okay, look. This is NOT a ROLEPLAYING forum. This is a game discussion forum.

Besides, even in Roleplaying, I find honor in both sides.

Actually i have a tauren warrior and forsaken priest, and the "speeling" from those around me doesnt get any better - except for the swearing, for which people become especially adept(both sides). I especially like when i RP my priest and was told "ladle yourself in noobsauce you *&%*", simply for starting an escort quest before said person could.
