On my lock (lvl 19) my fear rarely breaks. Fear is the most overpowered spell in the game. It needs nerfed big time.

Well with game experience like that, who can argue! My level 19 rogue can kill people with two sinister strikes, nerf sinister strikes. /sarcasm

Lemme see if I can sum up the posts...

Warlock Players: It's not perfect at all, don't mind the fact that I can type 15 words to describe how you're going to be dead with no chance of victory, it breaks all the time.

Non-Warlock Players: Fear never breaks until you're dead...

Except some of us play more than one class and are aware that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Fear is a powerful spell with a multitude of limitations and shortcomings that people conveniently look past when they get killed by a warlock in PVP. I know what it is like to PVP as the WEAKEST class versus warlocks but I'm not going to make the situation out to be worth than it is with ridiculous assertations.

When I play my warlock I think it's pretty ******* lame that a rogue can stunlock me through 5.6k hp without me having a chance to move, or that a hunter can aimed shot>arcane shot>silencing shot>multishot>arcane shot me, all from outside my range and I can't do anything to retaliate. Or where's my trinket to get out of sap and freezing trap?

I am more than happy to perform tests with someone where I DoT you up and fear you and we'll see how long before it breaks just on DoT ticks. Or I'll fear you, DoT you, then shadowbolt you... we'll see how often it lasts through that shadowbolt (heck if I can even get one off...).

I'm not saying it's unfair, don't get me wrong, nothing is unfair. If I can kill someone from 30' away, I'll do it and do it FAST.

I run a 37 mage and a 19 pally, and I've had people complain that my mage can burn them to the ground too fast. Yea, till they get close to me and hack me to death in 5 hits.

Every class has an "OH ****" button, locks have death coil (shadowfury works well too) Mages have frost nova and blink.

Execute doesn't break fear; it only attempts to end the lock's remaining <20% life before the spell is cast; now with felguard, soulinked locks just won't die with 1 execute, and if they survive barely, they will dot you fully before they die... suicide doting : )

The warlocks usually know if their fear is breaking early because most use mods that monitor the target, people who are feared almost never know for sure how long they have been feared and no matter how long it is it seems like forever.
