Ok, this looks good.
BUT! I have some questions - are the honor points the same that you get every week if you pvp?
Because if it is, that's not very hard to get any of the stuff there.
Might take like two days to get a whole HWL set.
Maybe blizz is making it like this so everyone can get HWL/GM Gear to level up easier come expansion?

Now, can someone whi is better at math then me do some figuring?

I see that the marks are the same, but it taks 3X as much honor for each item... is the HWL stuff 3X as better? Cause at a glance, they look mabey 30-40% better....

So as a casual guy ( who gearing more than one charater) I am thinking the Blue set would be better for my money (errrr, time/honor points).

I think it depends a lot on which class you have and how you are specced to determine which of the PVP items are really worth it, but just like with PVE gear the effort to get the best is much much higher than the effort required to get something a which is only a bit weaker.

Myself I decided to get some of the missing rare items (only made it to rank 9 pre-patch) plus a few AB/WSG items and a mageblade to augement my equipment. I probably could have gone for GM armour, but it just doesn't seem to be worth the effort.

No, honor decay is removed, and so are DHKs.

I'm having a hard time bringing myself to spend the honor for PvP weapons/armor when, in just less then a month, TBC will be out and new items will be able to be found in quests and loot.

One thing you need to update rabid is the cost of the hwl chest piece... at least for casters it is 60 AB marks, not 30.


Secondly, I agree with you rabid. I think that it will take until about 64/65 to get better gear than the hwl set, which from what I understand the time it takes is substantial, so the gear will be quite helpful if you get it now, and then it is always a nice upgrade from what you have right now as well.
