I have recently been testing and am able to confirm the prices for rewards. All of the HWL one-hand weapons are available for 22500 Honor Points and 20 AB Marks, all the two-hand weps are 45000 Honor Points and 40 AV Marks. Marks can now be stacked up to 100. Full Warlord's costs a whopping 95625 Honor Points.
Spaulders, Gauntlets, and Boots are 12375 each.
Helm and Legs are 19125 each.
Chest is 20250.
Spaulders-20 AB Marks
Boots-20 AB Marks
Gauntlets-20 AV Marks
Leggings-30 WSG Marks
Helm-30 AV Marks
Chest-30 AB Marks.
The Rank 7-9 set costs the same in term of marks, but costs 31875 Honor Points total.
Spaulders, Gauntlets, and Boots are 4125 each.
Helm and Legs are 6375 each.
Chest is 6750.
Warlord's off-hand books are 22500 Honor Points and cost 40 AB Marks each.

Awesome, this is some pretty interesting info. How quickly does one accrue Honor Points?

Can't wait until the patch comes out so I can start gathering. The thought of slowly acquiring the items makes my tummy tingle.
One of my major concerns with trying to grind for Rank 14 was that I would hit R14 and not have enough money to buy the rewards. That has got to suck.
Not that I'd ever make it to R14, but still.

Yeah Mazra, that was one of my main concerns too. I could have grinded to rank 14 if i had the time, but i didnt have the money. Immagine hitting rank 14 and only being like 1% into it, and not having the money to buy a SINGLE thing....MAN that would SUCK!
Ah well, new honor patch is just 1 or 2 weeks away, no point in talking about the old system. Out with the old, and in with the new, and tbh, its a damn better system, i already have 20 AB marks saved up :D

There's a bug going on so for now, I do not know the rate at which you gain Honor Points, but there is a new addition to the mini-map where the World Map button is on the top-right corner of the screen. Also, there are many Arena groups going and I still have yet to get in one.

Mazra, from what i've heard, the specific BG rewards (Like the unstoppable force) cost a LOT of marks and a LOT of honor points. Last i heard, TUF cost 80 AB marks...and seeing as im more of an AB person myself, this made me a very very sad paladin :(
But i wouldnt be hopeful for the cost of the AB items to be low, i would be expecting 40 or even maybee 60 marks for them.

Also, on the subject of new talents, I have not faced many classes as of yet, but the Druid Tree Of Life form is one tough **** to kill
Oh yes, the ranged weapons, I'm not on my account atm, but as far as I can remember, they will cost the same as one-hand weapons but will require 40 AB (can be AV) Marks. Also, I got to look at the items available for BC, and most of them cost around 10 Eye Of The Storm Marks, interesting to see how long that BG will take, from the quantity it seems that Blizzard expects for the BG to take a fairly long time.
I was told from a couple people that there isn't any use to save up current marks as they will all be deleted on the next patch.
Also, does anyone know if the honor will slowly depreciate or be gone in a week? Or would I be able to save up honor+marks for a month and then buy the HWL gear, for instance?

Yeah, eye of the storm should be a fun battleground. Ive downloaded a video of of WoWmovies or whatever, and it looks like SO much fun. A cross between AB and WSG, though im not sure if by having the flag and capturing it you get a few hundred extra resources, or it does something special while at a node like doubles its resources. I initially thought that you could plant it at a node and recieve a bonus from it, but now im not so sure, some people are saying that you cap it and get rep and honor and more resources.

Nope, EotS (if that's what we're gonna call it) is not up and is a 63-67 BG from what I've heard, sorry =(.

Well, I think I may copy over an updated version of my char so I can actually DW, still haven't tried Arenas because there are so many people using them you cant talk to the master.

No gold is needed for any PvP related purchase at all, but you still need to get 150 riding skill for the mounts.
I don't think getting the items is going to be as easy as people think ... but I am very hungry for information...
The big question - how fast can you get this new honor currency? I.e. you win a WSG game in 11 mins w/ 20 HKs. Does that give you 50 honor? 100 honor? 200 honor? 500 honor?
I heard a rumor that the 45000 HWL weapons were going to take *gasp* 1-2 months of hardcore play to earn. That's a crazy rumor, of course, and I am very eager to get my hands on some reliable info in this regard.

within a few BG runs on test i got about 1k honor, that was over an hour or so of goofing off. between AB WSG and AV
From what I've heard, Jord, the conversion rate between Old Honor: New Honor is ABOUT 10:1... so divide your weekly honor totals by 10 and you'll see how much you're earning. This is _really_ good news, as it's significantly less than you need to grind now (assuming you're on a competative PvP server - seeing people on RP servers with Standing 1 and 125k honor for the past week is deeply depressing, and they'll have to work harder now). On Illidan... well, before XServer BGs/10 kills per day rather than 4, we had someone hit a million honor gained in a week. He was standing 4. Three other players had beat him, by a fairly significant margin.
Illidan is _tough_. Anyway...
...the token turnins are pretty stupid. 80 AV win tokens for a TUF versus 40 for a HWL weapon? That's just idiocy. AV wins are _much harder_ to pull off than AB wins, for example, and the cost in terms of AV tokens should be vastly lower than the cost in terms of AB tokens. If the HWL 1H weapons cost 20 AB tokens, the 2H weapons should cost _at most_ 20 AB tokens, and even that is pushing it. The AB tokens take under an hour if you're in an organized group - the AV tokens will take much longer, and will have very little to do with your individual talent and very much to do with your team's level of idiocy.

The PvP mounts post patch will require 150 riding skill, unlike the rank 11 PvP mounts pre patch. So, if you don't have 150 riding skill you will be shelling out gold to be able to ride them.
It's my understanding (and hope) that rank 11 mounts bought pre patch will still retain their 75 riding skill requirements. Otherwise, I will be one seriously unhappy camper.
actually, I still have one question. What about the incremental rep rewards from AB and WSG? IE the level 18, 18, 38, etc equipment? If it has the same level of price tag as the endgame stuff, it's just insane to get. I'd find it very lame though if they took it out. There wouldn't be ANY reason to PvP pre-60....
