I switched from Titan panel to Fubar yesterday and man I'm glad I did. So many more snapins for Fubar than Titan it's crazy.

FuBar is more complex then titan panel.

titan panel comes with all the basics in it FuBar if i rember correctly cant do anything without the plugins. since his guide is for new players i would vote titan panel because its easier to use before you upgrade to something like FuBar

Yeah Titan does come with most everything you'll need right "out of the box", but there are decent compilations for Fubar that you can pick and choose which snapins you want to use, plus you don't have to go far to pick up new ones or update existing ones,

Man, I was just thinking today "I should start a Mod guide." This had apparently fallen off the first page, by the time I looked yesterday. Figured I would give it a small bump and add my 2 cents.

UI Mod: Bongos... or is it bongos2 now? I dunno for sure.

HUD: ARCHud2 (had a few small bugs lately, but it still works fine)

Hunter: Fizzwidget Hunter's Helper (When a MOB is moused over it tells if it is tameable, and what skills you can learn from it. And if it is skinnable.)

Quest: Extended Questlog (Enlarges the quest window, and also tracks the location of quest objectives, and remembers them incase you repete the quest on another toon. Also shows the quest's lvl)

MoveAnything! (might not be needed with Drag Queen, I dunno I have never used DQ)

Money Mgmt: AuditorFu (keeps track of where your gold goes and comes from, and is sortable by time periods: session, 24hrs, 3 days, life, etc.)

But I think an uber popular Mod like FuBar should be listed, and noted that it is more advanved.

Thats all that I can think of right now, but I know that I am forgetting some. PM me if you would like some help/more info, but excellent work so far.

Lightheaded is a pretty good quest mod if you ever get confused or lost during a quest it takes info directly from WoW head and displays it next to your quest log. So no more needing to alt+tab out of WoW to find quest help on-line.

My 2 cents...

The Ace2 addons are pretty sweet because of the Wowaceupdator application which makes it very very easy to update mods after patches.

Also, some suggestions for Shaman mods...
Chaman2 or TotemTimers for all your totem managment needs (and ankh/ele shield cooldowns)
DisqoDice (display nicely sync'd bars illustrating shock, stormstrike, and windfury cooldowns, and a new watershield timer to take advantage of the new watershield in 2.3.)

Other random ones:
elkbuffbars: replaces buff display with customizable list
monkeyquest: kinda nice for tracking quest mobs
omen: another threat meter
pawn addon and lootzor: usefull for comparing items based on stat weights (if you're into min/maxing toons, especially for raiding)

errr, thats all I can think of right now off the top of my head.
