lol who cares about cat form?

its junk anyways bear form owns it due to the hp sucking ability. no offense but people who stay in cat tend to be the people that try to take other players roles in group when they need to be healing =-( i kno it sounds mean but hey we need a priest pally and druid not a priest pally and well umm cat.

anyways it is nice for pve so iguess that was mean but hey i just died from some moron yesterday who refused to heal even though he was the only healer in the group.

(also where can i get this download other than use of the blizzard downloader?)

Let's not turn this into another hybrid argument!

Sometimes druids do get to be cats in a group that doesn't need a healer or a bear tank. My cat can grab aggro from time to time, even with cowering, so... innate threat reduction FTW!

I don't like this kind of stuff... it's hard to come back when u are well used to something... at least they promise this good feature will come back... hope won't be another empty promise... :(

Another thing i noticed... there is no word about the issue regarding the sound of kidney shot... that in 1.11 always play it's typical sound even though the target doesn't get the stun effect, due to resist/dodge/etc... previously that sound was played only when effectively the kidney shot landed.

I play on EU server... so i don't have played WOW yet cause at the moment they r applying patch

I wonder if this means I get the shard back when I dismiss the demon.

What if it despawns because I summon a different one?

Darn. Doesn't work that way.

They finally fixed the claw sound. I was sick of it sounding like I was pounding on a shielded enemy when I used Claw.

Nice how hunter's mark no longer prevents a rogue from vanishing safely...

Don't know why rogues would keep combo points if they vanish. Warriors lose rage when they're out of combat...I thought that this patch was going to lessen the severity of the very, very stale "stunlock" rogue build that every PvP rogue uses, but apparently not.

And warrior gets screwed on Thunderclap...hooray.

Yes, it is really going to suck because mark is an effective tool agianst rogues. Now they nerfed it for some unknown reason. Like hunters have it sooo easy.
#59 Aug 22 2006 at 10:02 PM Rating: Decent
Yeah that really sucks for hunters.

Have druids ever got badly nerfed? I haven't seen it but I haven't played that long...

Not like it needs to happen anytime soon. :P

Oh great... Patch day... I get to spend the few hours I have to play on WoW waiting for the fricken patch that I don't even care about to download...

Took mine about three hours...

And then there's always the getting booted off Darkspear about 4 times when I finially do get on... And then finially, trying to log on chars and getting returned to the character screen...

Thanks Blizz... Can't you do this crap at like 4 in the morning when everyones sleeping? Kthx. T.T

I play a rogue and a hunter and I know for a fact that when marked you cannot stealth. well now they can and effectively remove the effect with nothing more than a push of a button.
#62 Aug 22 2006 at 10:15 PM Rating: Decent
Yeah. If anything, stunlock seems to last longer. That's just super.

Rogues should lose a combo point every time they jump.

To give something small and take somthing big, if you do this a few times it might seem to be a give and take but in reality it's a whole hell of a lot of taking than giving going on. If you only go half way to your target with every step you'll never make it. This is your give and take theory. Give them and inch and take a foot. Eventually hunters will have very little to do with PVP at all. My solution to thier is give hunters the ability to root thier targets for 5 seconds at least we will have a chance.

+ Neutral guards are now able to see through the rogue Vanish ability.

They just keep finding new ways to ***** over us Bloodsailers don't they? So much for being able to use my Gadgetzan transporter for quick travel now. Not when it means a very quick and painful death by massive guard spawn. :(

I found this really funny. Know what it takes for hunters to effectively remove the stealth given by vanish, a move that is on a 5 minute cooldown and has a reagent cost?

The push of one button (flare) on a very low cooldown.

IMHO Hunters will remain PVP power-houses for a very long time.

Listen dude, you are a total DOUCHE. If you cant play your class, that is your OWN PROBLEM. Hunters OWN ROGUES. End of story. You don't need any ****** root, you already have imp wing clip, imp concussive shot, scatter shot, ice trap, and MORE. What else do you need? If you cant kill a rogue with those abilities, LEARN2PLAY -NUB-. Seriously man, wow.

Druids got nerfed once and that was when Blizzard released the game. Ever since they've been buffing Druids to make them worth anything against other classes.

Does anyone remember Druids before the Cat form and Feral talents fix?

What a joy.

Hm, no info about the Naxxramas-related quests that disappeared together with the respective NPC's...

It should no longer be possible for Emperor Vek'lor and Vek'nilash to Unbalancing Strike or Arcane Burst immediately after a teleport.

I seriously lost counts how many early wipes this "feat"caused for us (3500, 3500, Tank dead).

Also, no changes to Paladins and no new enchants (15 FrostResi on Cloak at Cenarius Revered anyone?)

Ranged Elemental Damage: Our ranged combat system does not allow a ranged weapon to do a mix of Elemental (Fire, Frost, Arcane, etc.) and Physical damage. Many ranged weapons existed which were listed as doing Elemental damage and did not function properly (the damage was dealt, but was treated as Physical). All of those weapons have been changed to deliver the Elemental damage as a chance on hit effect. Hurricane was previously changed this way in 1.11. The following ranged weapons are also fixed in 1.12: Bow of Searing Arrows, Dwarven Hand Cannon, Heartseeking Crossbow, Dark Iron Rifle, Galgann's Fireblaster, Quillshooter, Shell Launcher Shotgun, Venomstrike, and Verdant Keeper's Aim.

Heh. I didn't even remember that the Heartseeking Crossbow had +1-4 Shadow Damage because it never popped up as a separate damage number. I guess now I will notice when it does proc.

This is interesting -- It now looks like my hunter is casting a shadow spell when the damage procs on my bow. It also breaks up the shooting animation sometimes so I start to think Auto-shot has been cancelled for a moment. That throws me off.
