Alliance Are So Stupid On My Server....Follow

#1 Aug 08 2006 at 10:01 AM Rating: Default
Ok heres how it goes...
You know Nesingwary's Expedition? The one in STV? Well theres always a bunch of alliance down there questing. I got led down there by a quest a level a little low for the quests i was getting. So one of my level 60 friends helped me out. At the time, i didn't know what it ment to PvP trick someone. For those of you who don't know its /duel, /pvp, let them attack you once or twice then /forfeit. My friend told me to do it so i did... leading up to about 30 HK's that day. We kept on going back for more and i was enjoying it. But the stupid alliance NEVER learn. Getting 30-60 HK's a day by dueling people? You think they would have caught on by now... but no! They keep coming back for more! Eventually me and my friend die when 8 level 60's come down to protect the whimpy little alliance. Couldn't they have just not dueled me? My name is Earthqwake on Hyjal, and i PvP Trick.

You do realize that tricking people into flagging for PvP on a PvE server is against Blizzard's TOS? Those 60s coming to teach you a lesson is nothing compared to what Blizzard might do if someone had reported it.

thats nice... THEN DONT EXCEPT THE DUEL.

I've got a great idea...how about you stop ******* around on a PVE server and re-roll on a PVP server. Then you can simply kill or be killed - no trickery involved.

...but be warned...PVP are no place for wimps like yourself...

p.s. - don't take it personally Earthquake, I'm a hordie myself...

I was unaware of this trick until a few days ago when someone played it on me.

Was waiting outside ZF for my group to gather, saw a group of alliance toons waiting there too.
Was challenged by a 48 Warrior (I was 45 Shaman) so I accepted, beat him, then somehow my flag came up and the rest of his group ganked me before I got a heal in.

I ended up using an ankh and running into the instance to wait out my flag-reset.

Warned the rest of my group, but by the time they came to the instance they were all willingly attacking the alliance group (they were still flagged) and beat them all, then ran into the instance.

:D

i mean yes its cool trick but don't overuse it. i haven't done it too much lately (not because im scared to get caught) but i did it to a lvl 38 druid at lvl 35 while i had 2 hits in on me and still won. its fun to do and what server are you on?
#10 Aug 11 2006 at 3:11 AM Rating: Decent
um...earthqwake...i find it funny how you call the alliance "whimpy" because they get help from higher level alliance....

I somehow got the impression that you, yourself, had a level 60 to hide behind during this little event...or did i just read it wrong?

i didn't know about it untill he told me to do it. he was helping me with quests out there (sorry i have friends) so i did. i didn't plan it.

Well then the alliance have 7 more friends then you don't they. I bet they are sorry they have friends too. And you deserve to be reported due to the fact that you are ruining others days and breaking the TOS. Why not decline the duel? Oh well I dunno $hithead, maybe, unlike you, they don't know things that could get them banned, and wanted to have a little fun?

Good day ElephantF*cker

Ok sorry to say but you sir are dumb. On a PvE server you think it's a cool trick to /pvp -> /forfeit. and then you call them whimps...lol. Also you think their dumb for having lvl 60 friends, but if you have on it's alright? I'm sorry but you have made yourself sound stupid...

you cannot switch from pve to pvp, only to other pve servers, pvp can change to pve however

Doesn't sound like a mistake to me.

My Rogue is on a PvE server, i was wondering if it makes a difference if the other person is flagged for pvp before the fight, or do they have to be flagged during the fight? Do i just have to watch out for the /forfeit?

I've always enjoyed dueling horde characters (and before you flame at me for posting on a horde forum, i have a shaman on pvp server) as they are generally better at pvp & i have learnt a lot of tricks from some crafty horde rogues ive dueled.

I dont particularly want to be afraid of dueling horde now incase some idiot flags me for pvp and i end up being ganked. I normally don't accept duels from anyone who I don't think will teach me anything. I almost always accept duels from lower levels as i often challenge people up to 10 levels higher than me for experience, so i like to return the favour. You might call that idiotic but as you know on a pvp server you can't choose who to fight unless you are a level 60 rogue and no one can spot you unless you want them to.

Would like to add that tricking people into pvp combat isnt clever, if they wanted to roll pvp they would be on a pvp server or they would already be flagged. /duel is enough. im sick of people /chicken around me when they are with 4 or 5 people or are 20 levels higher. It is really idiotic and childish.

Edited various typos.
