Yes, WoW is a good game, and you apparantly don't get the fact that things happen. They're working on a major addition to the game, you can expect problems to arise. Seriously, you can't tell me that you're so good, you could go and fix the problem right now.
Stop complaining.
I have a better idea. You stop complaining and carrying on about us complaining. Honestly, if this happened anywhere else, ANYWHERE else, there would be a huge uproar. What if your telephone was shut off every week on Tuesday, and didn't come back up on time.... all in the sake of "maintenance"? And what if, should this happen, they somehow ***** it up with untested/poor-tested software, and cause you to randomly drop calls?
Or, for instance.... your car had to go in for maintenance every Tuesday? And sometimes the maintenance lasted thrice as long as you were told it would? And you couldn't drive home because the car was being worked on still?
Sure, it's a game and things happen. What you're not understanding is that
WE PAY FOR THIS! Granted, again, it's just a game. But it is something we pay for, and we want what we paid for. Not when Blizzard decides we can have it. With the millions of subscription dollars rolling in every month, you would think they could pay PROFESSIONALS to operate their server hardware, and network infrastructure.
Blizzard needs to stick to the software/games and let the real IT professionals maintain the hardware.
....so sad, and pathetic.
<Edit>
In regards to the three posts before this one, the servers were down for maintenance. They're not going to let you connect, because THEY ARE DOWN. IT IS TUESDAY. IT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TUESDAY! READ THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD!
...ffs.
Sorry, don't mean to vent on you all, but these same things keep popping up on forums all over the 'net, every Tuesday. "Why can't I connect?!" "zomg, I'm going to cry! I can't play, because the server is down!" This stuff gets old. READ FIRST, then post.
