ok, so im still a noob at this game but i was able to get some stuff I want to sell at the AH. I know its in Ironforge but how do I get there? I know I can take a boat from Darkshore to Menethll Harbor, which is right north of Ironforge, but from there it looks like I have to trek through the Wetlands and over a mountain range to get south since I haven't created a flight path. Using the map at worldofwar.net it says the level of the Wetlands is 20-30, I'd get slaughtered. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I didn't see any other way to get there. Thanks!

: nods : Yep, slaughtered... lol!

I'm fairly new myself, so others may have tips that I don't know, but I recently created a new Night Elf that I wanted to go through basic training over in IronForge, so I did the precarious trek while my ears were still fairly short.

Through the Wetlands, the only thing I can say is stay on the path, keep your head down and run, and if you see a monster on the side of the road, stay toward the far side of the path, or just off the path, if you can. I only died about 5 times on the way, and each time I rezed, I accepted as far ahead along the path as I could.

It was worth it! - Would love to hear advice from others that may have a better way, though. ^^

That's about it, run fast and be alert, you can get thru easier than it seems, I've done it a few times at level 4-6...

Take off all your armor and stuff, run naked. If you die, check the map to see if you've spawned in a graveyard that is closer to your destination, and if so, revive at the Spirit Healer. Be sure to get the flight paths as you go thru each spot, just makes it easier later on.

Cool, thanks for the info. aI never realized that I can take off all armor and if I die I won't take the durability hit, so that was extra helpful.

Be careful though. I think you take a 25% hit on all EQ in your inventory. Might want to put your stuff int he bank first.

There's a 10% durability hit on all equipped items when you die, and a 25% durability hit on all items equipped and in your bags if you choose to respawn at a spirit healer.

Semi-related note: You can't auction anything that's taken damage until the damage is repaired, so put any equipment you're planning to sell in the bank before you start.
