It's been happenning to me lately, but for some reason whenever I'm fighting a monster, it tends to run off into the sunset to where I can no longer attack it, leaving my pet to do all of the work. When my pet finally kills the monster, it magically reappears in front of me again. I'm curious if it's just me or if anyone else is having this problem too.

It is a known distance vectoring that Blizzard has been made aware of from those of us in test.

Actually the monster is in front of you, just under the ground. You will find that if you do not pursue it and continue to attack thin air, you will kill the monster and that it will either appear in front of you, or if you mouse over the area it is in, you will get the loot icon.

So its not lag? That happens to me all the time, especially in busy zones.

It's a known game bug .... not a problem on your side.

Blizz is aware of it... although they haven't fixed it and it's been a problem since OB.

Well that's comforting to know that I'm not the only person who is having this problem. What sucks though is that I don't pursue it at all but I stop swinging regardless, leaving my pet to do all of the work. I wonder what is taking blizzard so long to fix that problem.

yep, yep, this happened to us a few nights ago while fighting some syndicate thieves north of Southshore. One thief was about 30 yards away from me and was still attacking me and damaging me. I tried hitting the thin air and it told me I was facing the wrong way, so I whirled around and eventually found the right thin air to attack and killed her. Clearly a bug.

Well, I guess we're just going to have to live with this little glitch/bug until blizzard can fix it. It really doesn't bother me so much because my pet does all the tanking for me anyway, but just sitting there watching my pet do everything gets kinda boring after awhile if you ask me.

Yeah I get this a lot and figured it was lag.

Interesting that Blizz has been aware of the issue for quite some time... This bug is pretty glaring.
