There is virtually no configuration, just copy it into your add-ons folder and next time you start WoW and harvest herbs/ore, it will pop up in you minimap - remembered for the future. At any time, the closest 10 items are highlighted in your minimap so you can always see the items around you (kind of like a long-range tracking skill)
