How to run from Stormwind to Ironforge?Follow

Can someone give me some advice on the best way to run from Stormwind City to Ironforge? So far I haven't survived any of the attempts through woods and fields, and I haven't found a road that goes through. Thanks for any hints! (I'm a level 14 human warrior).
Hint: Boats are your friends.
Better Hint: Use the tram.

Well if you really want to run you can take half of Srifel's hint and miss the tram on purpose and run down what i call the "service path" of the tram wich i have done to see how long it would take, took about 10 minutes. But that 10 minutes i took to stare out of the glass tubes and into to ocean. Wich was way better than watching it blur past.

Yeah, the ocean is so cool. I fell off 'cause I like to hop around, and I hopped on the tram... you can guess what happened. 
Needless to say, I sit down every time I go on the Tram.
By the way, once you get the flightpaths in both places, you should fly over it once. Seeing big dragons is really cool.

Thanks guys, I finally discovered the tram and got to Ironforge, but not before trying to make the long run to the boat and dying swift and nasty deaths a few times! The life of a n00b! LOL.
Well the good thing about running down the service path is its a striaght shot so you can just auto-run and chat >.>

The flight from Ironforge to Stormwind is so sweet. Flying over pits and the Cauldron, Burning Steppes... it's so nice seeing the 50-60 zones from the safety of your gryphon. It's a MUST see flight for anyone!
