It was worth starting a Druid just to take the flight back to Mulgore. It really wets the appetite to explore the mountains, deserts and swamps - etc.that make up Azeroth. Even if you don't play a druid after - it was worth it to reach lvl 10 to do this - but I will

Honestly I didn't realize you could walk back... I just used my hearthstone.

I couldnt walk - went to only trail out - in the south and was met by a RED ??lvl mob - ran before it could catch me - flew out with ?manticore -lion with wings

Ah, i get it, so there is a griffon type place there? I will have to look closer.

NOTHING compares to the griffon ride from Stormwind to Ironforge. Passing over Burning Steppes, The Cauldron... seeing mobs you wont kill until your 40's-50's in the safety of flight. The pits and encampments along with the landmarks are a REMARKABLE sight. Takes my breath away every time.
