My two favorite so far are with my Night Elf male:
1) This one I just happen to be targeting an Ancient Protector in Darnassus. "You know those Ancient Protectors in Darnassus? There really not that old."
2) "Man, I was half way threw the Emerald Dream then I had to go pee."

Not having played the game yet, what are these phrases all about, I've never heard of them, can anyone tell me any more troll ones please?=)

Hey Quor,
I just read your rather informative post about Warriors in FFXI. Granted, I didn't get too far in the game, and I quit about 8 months ago due to school and work. However, I can't help but think that your post in the FFXI forum was rather narrow minded. I actually followed the path you mentioned in your post, but this was way before you posted it because it was the far most popular path for the warrior job. And yes, my intention WAS to get to my dream advanced jobs (DRG/SAM). I leveled my WAR to 18, and got my subjob. Leveled my Monk until 15 and went back to my WAR until I hit level 30. Once there, I got some help from my Linkshell and got my SAM advanced job. I know I haven't played much, but I've seen my share of insane combinations in the job. However, you have to realize that it's a matter of skill rather than picking the right combinations. I've been in parties with WAR/MNKs that didn't know what they were doing and got us killed many times. I've also PTed with WAR/WHMs that you hate so much and have had a great experience. I understand that you feel that people who have odd combinations are gimping themselves and their parties, but let them do as they wish. Maybe someone will come up with a good combination, or maybe they have fun being a melee/caster. On my server for instance, there was a Japanese player who used a Galka and became a Summoner/White Mage and is at the level cap. He says he did that in order to show everyone that anything is possible in the game. Let people have their fun, and I truly believe you're the one that wants cookie cutter parties. If you don't like the combination of jobs in your party, then go make another one. If you don't like getting 130XP per kill instead of the 140 XP you "could" be making, then go sit around and make another one. People play games to have fun, so don't complain when other people don't fit into your little mold. They have work, school, and/or parents that can tell them what to do. I don't think they need another person doing the same.

i responded to what you posted on the war forum, so ill only say two things on this thread;
1.) keep in mind its the internet. what i wrote is a guide. no one is obligated to follow it or listen to what i say. if you dont like what comes off my keyboard, then ill have to refer you to that little X in the upper right of the screen.
2.)

ok, im kidding. seriously now, what we are talking about is the voice commands that you can enable with /v, specifically /v flirt and /v silly. one of them says "so-and-so tells Player a joke." and the other says "so-and-so flirts with Player." while they say this on the screen, there is also an audio component, which is what you see here.
for instance, someone mentioned one of the tauren male /v flirt comments; "free rides......for the ladies". if you were a tauren male and you typed /v flirt, theres a chance you would say that phrase.
theres a bunch of /v stuff you can use, and you can find it all at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com under chat and emote commands.

You know, wisps are actually pretty good for personal hygiene.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.

Most excellent, I knew there was voice commands, but didn't reliese they could be different everytime, thats a nice touch.
