DPS Charts Yet?Follow

Yes..me..again.

Just wondering if any of you hard core fanatics have went as far as to filter out and build a DPS yet with weapons per the class you are playing?

Mostly interested in a rogue DPS chart but to be more specific...

I am debating the concept of dual daggers to a dagger/sword.

Now I have heard that you can still do dagger attacks, like BS. With a dagger in mainhand and a sword in offhand but was curious if anyone has actually tested a dual set of daggers with just attacking no specials, and than the same with swords. Than a dagger/sword combo and than even a dag/dag with specials and a dag/sword with specials.

Yes I know, there is alot to monitor in the testing. Same weapons, same specials, same stats at the time. All tested on same character who is the same every time...blah blah it has been done and you all know how it goes.

Any DPS charts would be interesting, I know it is early but with people at level 60 already I would not be surprised if atleast one person hasnt had the time on their hands to do it.

But I hate to drag this boring post out any longer, just curious as to the dmg ratio to daggers to swords but really any DPS with any class is always interesting.

So please post what you have found...and feel free to hate me =)

The problem with this is that there is so many variables

Race(look I have admitted it)
armor+stat bonus
talents
weapons
creature lvl
type of creature
class
specials
style
so on and so forth, so any chart made of this is not going to be completely accurate

Forgive me if you know this, but you can use cosmos to show your actual DPS. So just try it with different weapons and see what's best for you. I'm getting better DPS using dual maces than dual daggers, at least solo, where backstab doesn't happen often.

Aye, I would agree it is difficult but I assumed since my days in EQ everyone parsed EVERYTHING into charts that it could be done here. Though I had no idea about cosmos, I keep hearing alot about it but to be truthful I am getting a new computer for christmas and that is when I am getting the game.

I didnt want to seem like some noob just asking "whats best" but as I plan on going totally PvP and ripping people apart limb from limb I decided I mine as well now find out what does the most dmg on a decent average.

Thanks for the tip about cosmos then, guess I will just have to wait till I get the game and do something myself huh?

/gasp!

Thanks again though.
