Which class/race has highest DPS?Follow

Hi, I'm trying to find out which class/race has the highest DPS rating, well actualy I want opinions and reasons why I would choose such and such class/race, the reason for this is I want to make a farming toon one that can take down mobs real fast one after another, as a 27 NE hunter I think I do alot of dmg, about 42 dps ranged, and, with stings/shots/traps I'm sure my DPS goes to about 60-100 and I think I can farm quite easily with my hunter, hunter being (In my opinion the best solo class). Anyhow I've seen people argue with Mage vs Rogue, please give me some opinions and ideas if you've played these classes and keep in mind that the toon I want to make must be fast to kill many mobs quickly one after another without too much down time.

all this with about 3-4 days played time

You aren't going to do much better than you are now, for one. Not better enough, at least, to make a fresh character just to farm.

Mage vs Rogue? No contest, mages are frail and die easily, but I guess if you plan on farming low level mobs that is ok. Hunter and rogue are great for farming. But, you should know that, since you have the same access to info that I do, and you are probably only asking because you know the answer to the question and need to feel validated, I dunno.

I don't much care for apples, but I do like oranges.

There is no class/race combo that is the best. There is no one race that is best at a given class.

Some of the classes are better then others.

If you are making just a farming toon, I'd go Hunter.

Quaxotl - Hunter/Rogue were the two first choices I had, and the reason I want a farming toon is because I don't wanna lose leatherworking and skinning, and thus making a pure farming toon I would probably make a Rogue with Herbalism and Mining, which would be a pure gatherer of goods to supply our guild and my own income for gear.

Jord, What proffesions should he take with that class setup?

Oranges are alright but too much work peeling,plus your hand get sticky, Unless the Mandarians.
Apples the Devils Fruit(Damn Snake)
Kiwi's the insides are delicious but the fuzzy skin is grose and takes to much work to peel off.
I Like Choopin' Broccoli.
But Strawberries, especially when there rolled in sugar and fed too you, dipped in choclate is good too.

Paladins aren't the highest DPS, but there awesome for Farming they do good enough damage to take out lower level mobs, if you do get over whelmed you throw the magical shield up heal yourself or just run away.

For money gathering professions go skinning/mining or skinning/herbalism. Herb finding and ore finding abilities wont both run at the same time and there are some places where you can farm craploads of skins. Whelgon's (something like that) excavation in Wetlands comes to mind. Tons of raptors, 24-27, can drop light, medium, and heavy leather. As well as light/medium/heavy hides and respawn pretty quickly. And theres a couple close by quests that involve killing them, so you can usually get a buncha skins by cleaning up after people. Plus they can drop items (got a 15.3dps lvl 25 dagger off one last night), and other trade skill items (raptor scales), as well as the normal grey vendor fodder (keen raptor teeth, sell for like 5silver apiece, stackable).

Ok, so this turned into something not quite on topic.

Oh yeah, rogue or hunter would rip through the best since i assume you plan to farm low lvl mobs. A rogue can kill a mob 8-10 lvls lower than it before it even attacks alot of the time :p.
