Is it possible to solo instance zones if you are high enough level and do a lower level zone? Just curious if anybody has tried it. I haven't even been in an instance zone yet, so I don't even know what they are like. Since I am mainly a solo junkie, would be interesting to see if it can be done.

If you have 5-10 levels on them I wouldn't see it being impossible, but I wouldn't see it being easy unless you where more towrads teh +10 level side.
i sincerly doubt you could do it no matter what... in the Ragefire Chasm for the horde, you try to get one you agro at least 3 at a time no matter what, and sometimes you get even more.
You can solo instances, but it isn't a walk in the park...I can go into Ragefire on my own just for the fact that my pet and I both have 10-12 levels on most everything in the place.

Yes it is, for some classes.
I believe that high level mages could solo the scarlet monestary and get drops, farming it. This is exactly why things like the hypnotic dagger were made bind on pickup (they were sold to the point at the AH where they were tremendously devalued.)
I heard that a priest could pretty much not solo it though. I'm talking ever, even at level 60. You could solo SOME mobs but not any bosses.
