Hmmm...How do you fly on gryphons? Do you have to be a certain level, race, or class? Because I wanna ride one~

afaik, to ride a Gryphon, or other relevant flying beast, you need to first have been to both towers of the flight you want to take. Else, just pay the guy, I don't think there's a level restriction on that.
Um, I thought I had read all the rules, but I saw a level 40 guy flying a gryphon today, around sentinel hill. He was only just above the ground, and went back and forth several times, and was apparently in total control of it.. I thought we only got horses, but if we can one day fly anywhere.. that would be awesomely cool! Only worry is if their altitude is limited to just above the ground does that make them unable to climb hills?
Anyway if anyone knows the full skinny on this, please let me know.

There is a rare bug when you pay for a flight, that the bird will just sit there and you can actually control it. This comes at normal run speed, so it does not cause any problem, but its still there.
Awesome!! Thanks for this info, as soon as it happens to me, say, at Sentinel Hill, I'm hitting the road and driving that bird all the way into and around Stormwind City! It'll be cool! :)))
I'd prefer it if lvl40 could have birds, but it explains what I saw. Now I wonder if the bug has some coincidence with him being exactly 40? Maybe it happens when your horse is out..?
