LootingFollow

Last night in WC I won the loot roll for the Fang chest piece. At that moment in time my inventory was full, so I stopped to clear a space and loot the body. A party member by the name of Horangee comes running over and loots the body, taking the item which soul binds on pick up.

It would have been fine if he had admitted his mistake and even better if he had offered some sort of compensation. Did he? No. The first thing he typed was that he had the highest roll, which in fact he didn't. Lying was his first instinct.

Hate players like that.

Yea, those types of people are a pain. Blizz should put something in that makes it so that when you win a lot on something, if your inventory is full only you can loot the body. Skining is another example, I was in an instance and was skinning a beast when I had to go AFK. I call it out, and we take 3min break. I had to leave, like RIGHT then, and couldn't get the leather. When I come back the leather was missing from the body and I look in the log and see that someone else took it.

Not a big deal of course, but still people should have more common sense in some things.

Its like mining, i was mining some sweat silver and some other guy comes and begins mining my claim, i think that whoever has the first swing at a mining dump should lock it out to everyone else tell its either looted completely or you leave it for say 15 seconds.

Running through an instance for a few hours and taking loot that could be used much better by someone else is a completely different thing. That mines going to pop up again in a while, but that instance boss you wont be able to do for a pretty long while.

This is why in Pick-up groups you should discuss how looting shall go before entering, simply to avoid greedy people, but if theres something thats bind on equip that you cant use, even on an open loot group you shouldnt be rolling since that small amount you gain from a vendor pales in comparison to the use it will have to someone else.

I had passed on 5 or 6 items I couldn't use, or had items that were more appropriate for my class. I pretty much passed on all the cloth items, since we had a mage in the party.

We didn't have anyone who could use mail or shields, so we all rolled on those, figuring we would sell or give away to someone else.
