Custom Interface Patch Problems :: World of Warcraft

I just want to point out that blizzard did not disable the Custom Interface during the latest patch. All Custom Interface will not work everytime there is a new patch. This is because in the Table of Contents (.toc) file of your AddOn specifies what WoW Build number it is compatable with. To view/change this build number just open the .toc file with notepad, But if this dosent work try an advanced text editor (Such as EditPlus2). Anyways, every addon that worked prior to this patch, will say:

## Interface: 4062

As the first line in the .toc file. "4062" is the build number. To make the addon compatible(sp?), simply change 4062 to 4114. Save and exit and open WoW. Enjoy!

Im positive this works for standalone addons, im not sure how addons like cosmos works, so if someone tests it out, let me no how it works.

Testing Cosmo's now (since the website seems to be out of service).
If I don't post again within a few more minutes, then it's working so far and I'm busy playing :)

I can't see a reason why it would not work, since the only UI change made was to server selection.

Not sure why Blizzard would do something silly like say "Oh, let's make them delete or update their custom UI every time we make a change that may not even affect it"...

Seems to be a problem with TargetStats. Deleting the folder fixed the issue. I'll update as I find more of these.

That is SO STUPID!! It didn't work, but then I made the change (notepad works btw) and not it works!

Why would Blizzard do something so stupid??!?

Ok ... Ummm...

I made that change ... and now it loads up, but there's no CosmosUI when I get in >.<

Also, I don't know if it's related, but I can't chat! I can press enter to get a message box, type my thing, but then Enter won't work again! I can't hit enter a second time to talk to my guild!! Wierd ...

Im not quite sure, maybe cosmos is different. But try loggin out and back in again, when I edit my Custom UI sometimes I have to do this twice. Sorry if this dose not help.
