Ive heard many rumors about WoW main boss, such as Undead Arthas or archimonde back from the dead.. could someone please tell me who is the main boss of WoW if there is one atm?

In all actuality I don't think anyone knows. If i'm not mistaken Arthas and others were not in CB or OB because they wanted to save them for retail, but i'm probably wrong.

ive read that Onxyia (sp?) is supposed to be one of the toughest monsters in the game and requires like 40 level 60 to even have a chance, i think her instance has only been tested by blizzard peole i read something about it on official site
This is a MMORPG...it's supposed to be on going...
Don't you think that a "main boss" kinda defeats the purpose of a MMO?
Anyways, as big as NPCs go, Illidan is currently the top dog for now. Others, like Onyxia, will be as big if not bigger!

Onyxia by what I have seen is quite tough. I remember reading on the Blizzard site though that she is not the toughest of the big raid baddies, and in fact drops something to get access to an even stronger boss.
As far as what one would consider a "Main Boss" there is none. There are some major baddies like Illidan, and the future planned heavy hitters. It wouldn't be Warcraft if they called out a Main Boss type baddie in my opinion though.
Though you'll have to give some time, because I don't think anyone here from Alla has hit the heavy levels where you learn more about that stuff.

onexia is a tier one raide boss. there is 3 tier so should be way harder mobs then onexia like ragnaros ( elemetal second tier boss )
