Well I am sure that some of you have had this happen where you take the ship to the other continent and it disappears dropping you in the water.

Well last night I go on the ship and take my place at the front tip and start to dance just like every other person. And just as we were about to head to the loading screen the ship vanishes.

I fall in the water and gain 105 exp for "discovering Boulderrock ravine" Which is actually a contested area 2 complete zones away. So I am just like wow, that was odd but didn't think much of it.

I get on another ship and head to the UC when all of a sudden I get attacked by 5 lvl 30+ allaince people, mind you I am lvl 13 at the time. of course I die a horrible, horrible death.

So I think to myself. hmm how did this people attack me, I am in friendly territory so they cannot attack me unless I am flagged. Then it dawns on me. That "glitch" that had me discover Boulder rock Ravine left me with a flag for 10 min

Now I know this story has no point but I felt like telling it anyway

I haven't had occasion to take a boat ride yet, but I'm scared. I've heard way too many horror stories on the subject. Yarg.

This happened to me recently going from Darkshore to Menethil Harbor, but it was quite a bit into the ride, dumped the whole crew in the water... Couldn't see any land in any direction.

Saw something new... a fatigue meter... Didn't know that existed, but since it was quickly falling, I decided it was a good time to burn the old Hearthstone.

Was curious, can you actually swim back to shore?

What's the fatigue meter, and when it runs out, are you dead?

Can you swim from one continent to the other?

Now, when I take a ship, I /sit very still as not to cause any problems... Smiley: grin

If you're close enough... see the next few answers :-)

It's kinda like the Breath meter and it happens when you swim too far out into the ocean, and yup... it runs out and you're dead.

Nope, due to the fatigue meter.

Yuppers, had this happen to me too. They need to get this fixed or give us a gryphon route to match the boat like the one to Teldrassil.
