Stopping at a vendor to unload my saleable loot, going thru my packs, decided to check some of the new drops against my equipment.
Realizing I had received a few armor drops exceeding what I had on, I promptly proceeded to clicking it, piece-by-piece, thus selling it to the vendor...
Fortunately it was at a fairly low level and the equipment wasn't THAT great.
Few levels later, (on PvE server) in Avendale (sp?) I came upon my first enemy NPC camp, and even though they were red, they were merchants, etc. and I somehow thought they'd do business with me... They promptly corrected my misguidance. In retrospect, I can't believe how dumb I was, they were RED dammit!
As if that isn;t stupid enough...
I didn't realize that walking into a camp of enemy NPCs was considered an "attack" and flags you for PvP, especially when I didn't even have time to react. So... Not noticing I was now PvP flagged I ran back to my body, rezzed, then stood there gathering myself as three Horde players stared at me... (they were blue to me)
So I /wave
There response was not-so-kind... And they had quite a few levels on me. You know how that story ends.
Life is a learning experience. Can't believe I shared this, I was so embarrased, but it was kinda funny.
