Aimed Shot (Rank 1)Follow

#1 Dec 07 2004 at 8:08 AM Rating: Default
I know this should be in the hunter forums but id like an answer sometime this week. I am lvl 26 and on my abilities to learn i noticed Aimed Shot Rank 2 is comin up at lvl 28, so i figured i mighta missed one and scrolled up and no, no Aimed Shot Rank 1, so I checked the little box for used to see if maybe id forgotten i had it, nope never learned it. So i went runnin around from Origimmar to Thunder Bluff to Bloodhoof, and none of those trainers had Rank 1 Aimed shot, so, my question is? How do i get this ability? And i could be mistaken, but i dont see Aimed shot listed in the Hunter abilities on this site. thank you.

P.S one more question, when your downloading the WoW reader, it says to link your info into your Siggy, you need to use your profile number, where do i find this?

it'a talent skill, you have to get the free rank 1 skill then you can learn the rank 2 skill.

I don't think it would have much use in PvP unless you're really good at sneaking up on people and have more mana than you ever need.

I did pick this up (Rank 1) last night on my PvE Hunter, and though I didn't get to play around with it too much, it does seem to make a great opening shot.

I was working camps, so I'd get links quite often, which I expected and was ready to deal with...

3 potential victims...

Sic Bear on #1, fire off an Aimed Shot at #2... wait patiently for 3 seconds... Bear reaches #1 as Aimed shot hits #2, follow with a multi-shot (#3 has linked and is headed for me anyway, so we gotta give him some loving...) Now, pick any instant shot to finish off #2 (if he's still alive). Turn focus to #1, who is feeling the Bear, blast away at will to finish him. Now we have guy #3 who has finally reached me and is frantically pounding away on me as Bear heads back... Raptor strike and wing-clip as Bear arrives, move to range if desired or just work the old 2-hander to close the fight.

Rinse-and-repeat

I'd have to say, as a first impression, it has some use.

Plus, it's fun-as-hell to one-shot unsuspecting mobs...
