I have a Tauren warrior and am currently using a two-handed sword. I was wondering if I should instead use a single-handed weapon with a shield, use dual wield when I hit level twenty, or stay with the two-handed sword. Is the two-handed mace or ax better than the sword? Thanks.
It's more of a stylistic difference, at this point. However, if you're planning on doing PvP, I'd suggest using a 1H weapon and a shield, simply so you can Shield Bash and interrupt spell casters.
Things to remember: Bigger weapons generally have higher DPS, especially two-handed weapons. However, smaller weapons have speed - that dagger doesn't do much damage per hit, but it attacks often, which gives it more chances for critical hits and also disrupts spellcasters more.

This comment may be a bit late, but...
I would recomend the 1h sword/axe/mace with a shield. I would highly recommend against the dagger, mainly because unless you put all your 1st rank talent points into the +1% chance to do a crit, your standard 5% (i think) isnt worth while your doing normal hits for 7-10 dmg. With a nice 1h weapon you can do 20-25 every 2.5 seconds and still get that crit.

in my guild we have bundles of warriors, some use dual (which i disaprove for warriors beacuse of a really high miss chance) and we have some that use 2h axes and 2h swords. I use a 2h ae beacuse im a orc (orcs get the 10 bonus to axes) so, Taurens, depends if you want more armor go with 1h swords, if you want high ddmg go either 2h axe, and or 2h sword. i suggest not going dual wield though its not that great as it seams unless you are a rogue.
