I cant seem to decide wether I wanna play a rogue or a warrior.. hehe..
Please gimme some reasons to play a warrior and some reasons to play rogue =P

Hmm.. well, about 30 minutes ago, on my Undead Rogue, I was wandering around near Crossroads. A red letter gives attention to my eye, and I turn near it. It was a level 20 Gnome Warlock. I am level 17. I came up behind him, and was running behind him for quite some time. (I think he was in First Person View).
Anyway, when my Sprint timer finally came up, I hit it and backstabbed him. Kept hitting him, kicking his first spell (stun and neutralize that spell school for 5 seconds), and when he tried to cast another, used Gouge to stun and backstab again. With some Sinister Strikes, I had 5 combo points by then, used my special, Eviscerate (sp?), and criticaled for 164. Bye bye, Gnome.
Man, I love Rogue.

I love being a Rogue as well. Its just tons of fun to be sneaky and be able to deal good damage at the same time.
I can also tell you that 1 on 1, I havent lost a duel to a warrior yet. Ive got many abilites that give me a significant advantage.
However, A warrior can no doubt survive tougher battles then I would. If 2-3 equel level enemies attacked me at once, Id have no choice but to "Sprint" to safety. Im betting a warrior could handle those kinds of situations much better.

Bliz has warriors nerfed so badly right now, they're next to useless.
Well, maybe not useless... But anything they can do, another class can do better. A good player can play Warrior effectively, and my guild has a great one - But they're severely underpowered right now.

Chtulhu has it 100% right. Warriors can barely whack a mob down, and at the same time they can't tank for a group without having a healer dedicated to him stacking heal spells on him.
If you want to kill a mob in 5 seconds, go rogue. If you want a balanced class go Pally/Shaman, despite it goes against your question, both classes are very good and can take a mob down in a reasonable amount of time.

yes but war was the best class... and even with the nerf after level 40 it seem like war still kick *** :D
juat play the class 1st try other class and then get the feel of it then chose your class :D
...btw :D rogue is fun to play
igot a warrior, i got a special treat for the rogues who wanna dodge my hits :D overpower. instant hit, only if i miss. no dodge,parry, or anything else but miss. every time you dodge or parry i can use overpower :D
Wheres redmoon when you need defense for warriors =P.

Im also a Rogue (Gnome) on Eredar though I also have a 16 Night Elf Warrior (not in signature because I'm not currently playing him, named Whoru). Warriors are fun!! If you place talents right they can be a very capable class like my charge ability give me i think 12 Rage (correct me if I'm wrong, maxed upgraded rage for it) and then I used talents to lower my heroic Strike so it only costs 12, this way I charge my target (stunning them) and instantly dishing out a Heroic Strike which does good damage. I will probably pick Whoru back up again because I really want to use Spears but it comes down to how everyone plays certain classes and where the talent points lie.
Well as a rogue I have had lots of fun. I usualy play support in other games.
-Bardic Mage in Ultima.
-Shaman and Enchanter in EQ.
-Redmage and Summoner in FFXI.
So many abilities I dont know which set is my favorite.
For Duels I have found I just need to get 3+ combo points as fast as possible and i have one the fight. I use Armor Break and take off 200-400+ of your armor stat and than combo slice and dice you to death.

Well today before the server shut down I killed three rouges at once with my level 39 warrior. The rogues were level 32, 33 and 35. The hit fast but I hit just as fast once I pop my retaliation. With my retaliation going I generate tons of rage so im just popping cleave off on them as well. Needless to say it was fun to watch them all die.
how is warrior nerfed? with proper equipment , right talents, warrior can be a dmg dealer / tank. i'm a lvl 33 warrior right now and have no complaints at all. i hit when i need to, i do massive damage (2h axe), and have pretty damn good armor for not having a shield (1400). ive fought many rouges pvp, duel and have done very well against them. so far my highest critical damage was 1132 with execute =D
