Ok, I'm a little annoyed. I had an open call for like 2 days but here is why i called.

I am from Teldrassil Island, and around the edges of the island, you can actually fall off but Im pretty sure you shouldnt because you just fall to your death or land on some tree branch that sticks out of the side of the island, theres NO where to go but down. Heres my problem, I had fell, then wisped there again, fell, got my body, called GM to get me the heck outta there and back onto solid land, i sat around a little bit, fell again, 6 falls and long runs over, I landed at the Ru* Village, i thought ok cool, got my wisp, it put me in darkshore !! across the sea ( yer prolly sayin , why didnt this moron use his heartstone or resurect at the Angel thing) because why do i have to sacrifice my gear and exp because I cant get help and they didnt put up a fence or a little sign that says, Fall here and it will be a LONG time before you can do anything again, well back to Darkshore, I followed my arrow to get to myself, in the middle of the ocean, my wisp dies twice due top fatigue ( ? ? ? i was dead already! ) So then I found the boat and got on it and came back, Ok im normal again, took all of a hour, really turned me off, i still play, but wtf mang, cant a brother get some help from the People?

respond or not, i just wanted to rant >< I was quite annoyed.

Oh, yeah, I used the unstuck feature, but I wasnt exactly stuck in one spot, I could walk up and down the branch that stuck out of the island, it just moved me 5 feet over, before someone mentions that ><

So you think you should be insulated from anything bad that might befall you while exploring the world? That if you accidentally fall off something or die in a bad or difficult spot, that the GM's should help you? My goodness it makes me wonder what your expectations are in RL.

Being able to get a rez for only 25% durability loss is awesome. IMO you need nothing more in the game than that. Instanced dungeons put you back at the beginning of the instance. This is awesome. You would have found Everquest unplayable. If you die in a bad spot, you have to go get it or lose your equipment. The only "easy" way around is to get a necromancer to summon your corpse. The WoW world is already easy enough. IMO if you expect a GM to help you out of every "difficult" part of the game, you should consider something else. Like solitaire. :)

Dude, I should smack you, my point was I was pretty much off map and it took me a hr of falling back and forth to get back to solid ground. My expectation in RL are none of your business you ***. ill stop here, you shoulda been swalllowed.

Well you responded as I expected and even included a personal flame. Oh well I tried. I hope you find fun in WoW. Going to be real tough on you though the more you explore into higher level zones though. You'll find tougher situations than trying to recover your corpse from the side of a cliff or in the ocean. I seriously hope you don't expect Blizzard to put signs in every place that might be dangerous or on difficult terrain.

Good luck.

First off, you don't lose gear or experience. You might have to play a few silver for your repairs, but you wont lose anything. I don't know what level you are, but my lv27 Hunter has some nice gear for it's level. I was down to 25% of durability (I was greedy and REALLY wanted a Moonsight Rifle schematic), because I finally was tired of dying and running back--so I took the soulhealer hit. All said, I was out 30sp: pretty substantial, but one quest will pay that off these days.

So there's no excuse in not taking the 25% hit and there's absolutely no XP-loss due to death, so stop whining please; there are people out there having real issues and your case is just clogging the system.

If i'm not mistaken when I installed the game the first patch I downloaded came with an "UNSTUCK" tool you can run when you get into those situations. If you would have read the update news when you were patching you might have seen that and then used it to get your self out of there in about 5 minutes.

I got great response from GM - helpful even though took quite a while to figure out problems with feeding my pet- took 4-5 hours to get to me - but that's expected early on. I too fell of the tree - but used Hearthstone to get home- after I sent a help message to fellow players - TY Niki - I felt soooo DUH. The other time I got in deep doodoo was when I swam north along east coast by Ogrimar (SP?). Ended up in a lvl 45+ zone with lvl 10 char - wham - you are hit with 450. And woke up in graveyard - same zone.... First time got killed 2 steps from from graveyard - woke up in graveyard more west in same zone near a bridge. Went back to corpse - took 10 steps - wham.... 600+ Damage. So many mobs so close with large aggro range - never time to use Hearthstone. Finally used REZ effect at graveyard when all armor was zero effective.
The Point is - if you get yourself in trouble - the game does let you get away - with a cost. So what... in RL you never get that many chances. So use the problem as an excerise of how to get out of tough spots - might need it later - when more expensive. BTW - looking forward to beating the mobs in that high zone when I'm their lvl. A reason to lvl.. ))
Everybody just have fun.

I f you had read the post above by me, you will see I used it, it moved me 3 feet over, I wasnt stuck, I was off map where I most likely shouldnt have been. Unstuck if yer stuck behind a bush or a log, not off the map in uncharted territory.

The maturity shown by the OP proves one thing.

He shoulda picked a troll.

I've fallen off the tree, oh well. No big deal. Hell I've been thrown into the sea by the boat and died where it was 100% impossible to get my body. I've had satyrs pop out of the tree side too, and kick my butt all over the darn place.

I've died from lag, crashes, stupid over pops, and a lot of other ridiculous things. I've been so far off the map its nto funny. I don't decide to petion a GM because of it. They can't do anything for you.

And I also don't need to lash out whenever someone doesn't stroke my e-penius and baby me either, like you do.

B.net called, they miss you.

I ran around for hours and never "fell off" the island. What were you trying to do, fly? Even then, fall, kill/drown yourself, then raise at the graveyard. Problem solved. You didn't get a GM response because you didn't need one. :)
