ok im in so cal - are the pve/pvp similiar? obviously i know what pvp stands for - whats the best server i should join - i would like the best server to play on - also i would like to play with older people - not kids ie: 16 and yuonger

There are 80+ servers in WoW. Very hard to call anyone of them the "best".
If you're looking to be almost guranteed a mature level of player, your best bet would be a RP (role playing) server. They are strictly enforced by Blizzard so that people play as much in character as possible. I say that you'll have more mature on a RP server because of the RP mindset.

People in roleplay servers are probably the best mannered, and yes you should buy this game. Its an awesome MMORPG with every little thing that you have always wanted. Mounts, gryphons, raids, duels, tradeskills and more... all blended into one.
