Which one is it?Follow

Is there a way to tell if the lag going on is caused by the video card, or my RAM? I've tried turning the video options to the minimum and it helped alot, but sometimes I still get some pretty bad lag in random places. I plan on buying either a new video card or 512mb or memory, I don't have enough for both =(.
