How do you get the fishing skill to work? I have a rod and leatned the skill. I've equiped the rod as a weaon and have it in the shortcut bar. I Can't even get it to throw out a line to get the bobber. Do you have to attack a fish with it or simething?
Do you have the actual rod itself in the shortcut bar?? If so then take that out and put the fishing icon from the first page in the spellbook area. That is the icon you will use to fish. Then just click on that and watch the bobber. Oh and also make sure you are near deep enough water. It doesn't have to be real deep, and if you aren't you will get a little message saying you can't fish there.

Thats got it. I had the actual rod in the hotkey slot. duh! That was extremely frustrating. I wasted sooo much time searching for fish.

I can't get mine to work. Have before and have it leveled, can't seem to get it to work last night. I have item in hotbar.etc. Help?
