Is there a list of particle effect weapons in WoW? Or, perhaps, would it be possible to add something to the item database (under "appearance" or some other field) where a particle effect could ne made note of?
Maybe I'm missing something ... but what is a "particle effect" ??

I didnt want to be the first one to ask because I was gonna feel like an idiot. Now that you asked, I wonder the same thing.
I read somewhere that some enchanted weapons have effects.
Particle effect weapons probably refers to weapons that sparkle, or have elemental animations on them. At least that's what we called particle effects in Asheron's Call...long time ago...
You can search for EQ items in the database here and once you pull one up you'll see comments about it. "What's it look like equipped?" is a common question. I'm sure it will be the same for WoW items as time progresses. Items with particle effects were very much sought after in EQ, and I'm sure it will be the same for WoW.

Particle effects are usually weapons that glow or have flames or something to that nature.
