Well, now that all the majority of players have created characters and settled down for the most part.

( Excluding a possible large number of people after they get the game or new computers for christmas of course.)

What would you say is the MOST played class on your server and the LEAST played?

I care not about the ones between just curious what the top is and the bottom. I myself can enjoy any class but prefer one that is less common as to make a name amongst the few. So whats your input?

P.S. And it is simply skill that makes a class good because I played a Half Elf Warrior in EQ and was a tank for most high level raids in my guild over Ogres and Barbarians even with better gear...dont whine about the class...just get better =)

Undead Warlocks and Night Elf Hunters.....they're everyewhere!

Id say hunters and warlocks are most popular overall. Rogue and paladin is most popular with griefers, and rogue and shaman are probably the most overpowered.

Heh too bad I was planning on making a NE Hunter. oh well I guess I will just have to try extra hard to stand out amongst the number.

Quick Question, I understand what the whole term on reverse greifing in PvP means but in actual terms what is a griefer?

When a level 50 kills a level 10 you have what is called a grief kill, because that level 10 didn't stand a snowballs chance in hell.

As for "reverse" griefing while I am not sure on the whole meaning myself as I have heard various forms. One such form is when 20 lvl 10's gang up on 1 level 30. IF they had the old honor system in there (The one in the game right now is different) then it would be a high level getting killed by a low level because in the old system if a high level player killed a player that was too many levels below him he got a dishonor kill regardless if the low level threw the first punch.

Griefing can mean alot of things, Like the above poster said it can be a lvl 60 attacking a lvl 20, it could be someone following you around and grabbing enemies just before you do. Griefing is a general term used when someone does something to cause grief aka make it suck to another player. mainly though griefing is used on the pvp server for the lvl difference.

Ahh ok, Well I have never cared for inconsiderate players anyways so maybe I can be one of the few paladins who is not ganking eh?

I do not understand the point to killing such low levels. The point to PvP is it is fun to kill things with Intelligence that prove a smart challenge. There is NO thrill at all in killing someone 20 levels lower than you. No challenge, no rush, no feeling of accomplishment...so why do it??

/shrug

A bit off topic I guess but ya know....a guys gotta whine somewhere lol

On my server as horde, i'd say Hunters are the most played. Priests are definately the least played though, by a good margin. This is on a PvE server.

no. i know this wasn't the case in cb and i'm guessing this won't be the case now.

for one thing, blizz has said it is commited to perpetually uploading progressively uber sets and items as the game goes on. that means there's no "uchiudoe's kote" standard because if you wait another five lvls because there will be a wide variety of high-lvl uber gear.

and the really sweet stuff, epic gear, is supposed to take weeks to months to get. apparently there's going to be a lot more epic gear quests as well. so i doubt a lot of people will be going after the same gear when it could be "obsolete" with the next item update and when it takes forever to get. that is, since gear is forever being added, next week's "uber" will be next months "almost uber."

and i'm pretty sure there's a website that has all the server information like most pop class or whatever. maybe not.

Lightning Blade server, PvP Horde side

Lotsa Rogues, Hunters, and Warriors, in that order. Only a few Druids, and Priests are even rarer.

When going against the alliance, I've seen lotsa Hunters, Rogues, and Warlocks. Seen one druid, and few priests. Haven't seen a Paly yet.

Most: Hunters & Rogues.
I’m surprised to see that Warlocks made it to the “most played field”. Huh…interesting

Least:
Druid & Priest.

As far as my little experience on Cenarius, any class that has a pet is a sure bet to be overplayed.
Hunter, Warlock, and mage exist in hundreds.
No priests (well a couple), few PLD's.

Already shouts go out
"Looking for tank and healer class"
