I stopped going there, even for server updates. I grow tired of seeing this kind of stuff when I go there...

I avoid it like the plague. Although there theoretically could actually be some decent information in there, if I read "OMFG Blizzard be teh SuXoRzzzz" one more time I'm gonna puke all over my keyboard. Since I like my nice keyboard, I have decided that their board is a hazard for me.

I check the server status forums and that's it.

The rest of the forums are USELESS!!!

The rest of the site is nice, very informative.

I wouldnt say the forums are useless, because there ARE blue posts.

9/10 of the people on the official forums are retarded.

I think the official boards are far from useless. The general board is whiny and rude for the most part but class forums have very good information on builds, strategies, etc. At least there's more class-specific discussion there than I see here. And the PvP forum gets interesting, people have their opinions ;)

Read those forums to hear people complain 100 times worse than they do here AND to see some of the biggest thread trolls in the history of online communities.

Why are their forums so bad? Two words.....battle and net.

I don't know why I keep seeing that quote everywhere. People are moving to WoW from MANY different games, not just bnetters.

I think I would probably post more in the Warrior frorums if I could actually log in once in a while. Seems that the login servers are always down for me, even while using IE, Firefox or MyIE2. The other bit of the time it logs me in as anonymous and I can't post anything.

Oh well, I'll just stay here in the meantime, even though there aren't quite as many people here, haha.

I go there, but I don't know why. Maybe I like punishing myself. There isn't ever any useful information there. It seems like an outlet for teen angst or something. The server status forums aren't even really that useful. I depend more on the splashscreen updates when I boot into the game.

Oh sweet lord no. Only the tech support and server status forums are worth even glancing at. I was foolish enough to wander into the suggestions forum and saw a post on hiring "Mercenaries" that would join your party as a suggestion and it made me sick to my stomach. I have a great deal of respect for the admins there though, they put up with a lot of crap in situations where I probably would have lost my cool and exploded at somebody.

Yeah, but where do most of the idiots come from?

I find their lack of a rating system to be a plus...you can meet decent people there if you hang out on the right forums. I don't really discuss Talent Builds that much, but if I did, that's the place I'd go to.

I wish they tracked your post count on the main boards so then everyone can realize who are the post ***** flamers.

I am on them occasionally but 90% of the time I can't log into them because I get a 'login server down' thing so its a rare occassion.

I go to WoW official site every 10 minutes to check up on their news. They said they needed to stabalize the servers and bring more up so that they can have another shipment of WoW in retail stores.

I avoid most of the General Forum, but the Class and Profession Forums are very nice.
